Shiryu pt. 2

For the time I'm in Japan, I decided to stay with Seiya in the boat house. I didn't want to be so close to the others, especially Shiryu. The fight had been put on hold after the dragon vs pegasus fight, so you and Seiya had some down time. Shiryu had gone to China to check on his Master, so I felt like I could breathe a bit easier for now. Seiya came back into the living room and handed me a cup of (Fave drink).

"Are you gonna tell me?" He asked

"Tell you what?"

"About why you've been so down since you got here and why you decided to stay with me instead at the Kido mansion." 

I sighed. "Its nothing, Seiya. I just didn't feel like staying there because Kido's butler is annoying." 

He laughed at that. "Well, I agree with you there, but I know thats not the full reason," He put hand on my shoulder. "Is is because of Shiryu?" 

My face began to burn. "Wha?! How did you..." He laughed again and I hit him with a pillow.

"It's so obvious, especially since we were little. You need to talk him instead of running away."

"There's no point, he already has someone. He doesn't need me." I pulled my knees to my chest and put my head on knees. Seiya just rubbed my back comfortingly. 

"You never know until you try." 

I got up and put my shoes on, I need some air. "I'm going down to the beach, I'll be back later."

"Okay, just be careful." You nodded and walked out. As soon as you were gone, Seiya made a quick call to the Kido mansion.

As I got to the beach, I breathed in the salty sea air that I loved. I slipped of my shoes and let the waves brush my feet, as the waves came and went, so did my stress and worries. Being here made me forget about everything, even for just moment. I sighed in content, this is just what I needed.

"(Y/n)!" A sudden voice snapped me out of my trance. I look to see Shiryu walking toward me and my eyes widen. I didn't want to talk to or see him right now, so I run. I took off down the beach as fast I could. 

"(Y/n), wait!" He yelled but I didn't care, I ran as fast as I could but I guess not fast enough. I hand caught my wrist and I was pulled into someones arms. I struggled but it was pointless. "Please, stop. I just want to talk to you." Shiryu said

"Well I don't wanna talk, so let me go!" 

"Please, I wanna know why you've been avoiding me since you got here. What did I do?" I stopped fighting and went still. He loosend his grip but still kept his hands on my shoulders. "Why are you upset?"

"It's nothing, Shiryu." I pushed his hands off my shoulders. "You should go, your girlfriend is probably worried about you." At that he laughed. "What?" I glared at him.

"So that's why you left the day of my fight." He calmed down a bit. "You thought Shunrei was my girlfriend?" 

"Well, that's how it kinda looked." I give him an unsure look.

"(Y/n), we were raised together. She's like my sister."

Now I'm embarrassed. "Oh man, I'm so sorry Shiryu." I said as I put my face in my hands.

He laughed again. "It's fine, but next time," He took my wrists and pulled my hands from my face. "Don't think I love someone who isn't you."
