-Cordelia with the name comes beauty and with beauty comes destruction.-

Demons.
Our kind has lived peacefully amongst themselves with many races, Lyncans, Elementalist, Vampires, Griffins, Nymphs. There were occasional wars, but in time our kinds have learned to coexist with each other, treaties made and the rest was history. We all had one thing in common our cycle of life, which after we died we moved onto the spirit world, governed by kings, were we would spend the rest of our life living with our other half.

But the Gods had other plan for me.

As a child growing up, I found peace in the books I read, as all my griefs and sorrows would fade into existence, it was all I ever knew. My mother had a library filled to the brim with books, there were more books than walls, while my father was an adventurer.

Adventurers went on missions in Voids where monsters or powerful people lived, some were evil and barbaric, while others were beautiful and radiant.

My Father was known as unranked players which meant he surpassed the capabilities of a normal adventurers.S rank being next and so on all the way to E rank the lowest. My mother would often accompany him and bring a book back, filled with new knowledge.

Always bringing back treasures for their little angel, and it seems that the heavens favoured me too much and decided it was enough, they never came back.

Their corpses hung on a tree, blood everywhere, an animal did it, one that lost control. It looked as if a war raged on.

My world collapsed and as a child did the only thing I could to try and find release, I cried, I cried wanting to kill myself, as only those who die can go to the Spirit World, I wanted to go back to those days where it was us three, running around and eating breakfast,
but my plies were ignored and was taken into intensive care.

My relatives came one by one trying to seize ownership of me trying to gain my family's wealth but instead I was considered a nuisance. Sent back to the centre I was adopted into a family who would take care of me as my own would. At least that's what I was told.

As I grew older taking over my mother's beauty and my dad's vibrant and alluring eyes. I did everything to make my adopted family proud, worked two jobs and pursued an education, they already seized ownership of me, they had my family's wealth, leaving me to my books and giving me freedom, letting me go wherever I wanted.
They had wealth and power.

But greed doesn't always exist in the term of money.

That's when you look up at the sky and realise what a bitch Fate is.
