"Do you think penguins are cute?" Ryan says as he lays his head on my lap. I ignore his question and dipped a cotton swab in the antiseptic liquid.

We are at his house and this sudden development is because his damn lip is bleeding and this pinky princess is too scared to clean the wound.

The moment I touched his lip with the cotton swab, he stared fidgetting. "Stay still." I snapped, slapping his forehead.

"Ouch! I'm hurt. How can you hit a person who is already bleeding!?

"Like this." I slapped his forehead again. "Now say still."

Ryan glares at me making me chuckle.

"It hurts."

"I haven't even touched it yet. Drama queen!"

"The view of it hurts."

"Then close your damn eyes."

"I don't want to do this."

"This is the last time I'm saying, stay still or I'll strap you on the chair and use a scrub to clean it." Ryan chuckles on my threat. His stupid attitude makes me want to stab the cotton swab in his eye but his angelic chuckle makes me want to ruffle his hair.

"Okay!" he pouts and closes his eyes. I gently applied the cream on his lip, he flinched a little but stayed still. "All Done!" I muttered.

"Get up, it's done," I say; shaking him

"A few minutes more." He turns his head, his face bore into my stomach. This ignorant fool does not know what his actions do to my heart. I shook him again but he didn't even wince.

Oh God! Mentally sighing I look up at the ceiling, the beautiful chandelier hung is reflecting a rainbow around.  "This is really pretty."

Ryan was now softly snoring, he still smells like sweat and cologne and his sleeveless jersey exposes is muscular arms but the thing which caught my attention is his hair. They look so glossy.

I gently caress my hand on his hair. "It's so soft," I murmur under my breath.

"Of course! I shower every day." Ryan looks at me.

I hear a soft whistle and look up to see Jake staring at us. "Am I disturbing?" He mocks us as he walks toward the kitchen.

"Jake, you know I have a doorbell," Ryan says gruffly

"Yeah!" Jake responds ignoring his tone.

"Then fucking use it." He growls but Jake was busy stuffing his face with sausages.

"I'll be leaving now," I said as I got up and picked up my bag.

"Musa, you are coming to the party, right?" Jake asks as she swallows a whole sausage in one bite.

"What party?" I look at Ryan for an answer.

"She doesn't have to go," Ryan gnars at Jake and then goes upstairs.

"What's with him?" I asked anxiously.

A shocked expression crosses his features.

"His father is in town and he is holding a charity event at Blue Crown Hotel. I thought he'll take you as his date." Jake states.

"Why will he? Oh, come on." I puffed to hide the disappointment in my voice.

I slammed my maths book angrily and dived back in my bed. The party thing was annoying me like a buffering youtube video.
