You Can't Always Win

He pulled me into a tight hug. He smelled so good. He let me go and kissed my cheek.

Diggy: I'm so happy to see you.

Me: uh same here

I gave him a fake smile. I was happy to see him but I don't know if it was the best thing for me.

Tonya: girl come on!

She pulled me away from Diggy to the dance floor. He stood there awkwardly for a second, then followed us to the floor.

((My POV))

We got to the dance floor and was about hyped enough to start shuffling. We weren't really worried about where the boys were, we just went straight to the floor. Aye Ladies by Travis Porter came on and we got down. Rain started twerkin and some boy came up behind her and started grinding. Lexi did the same and Diggy's eyes got wide and he smirked and started dancing behind her. Just havin fun. Me and Randi were dancing face to face and I started backing up until I bumped into someone. I turned around.

Meak: oh my bad shawty-

Then the biggest smile in the world appeared on his face when he realized who I was. I couldn't help but to smile back.

Meak: we meet again.

Me: do I know you? (joking)

Meak: last time I checked I was that dude you liked.

Me: doesn't ring a bell.

Meak: (laughs) well I'm glad to see you anyway.

He gave me one of the biggest hugs I think I've ever experienced. He was so soft. I almost didn't wanna let him go. Then Randi pulled me over to her and started questioning me while dancing.

Randi: girl, what you think you doin?

Me: what you mean?

She gave me the "don't play dumb" look. I shrugged.

Randi: if Prod saw you with him he would flip. You know he's the jealous type. At least with you.

Me: I know. Nothing's going on with me and Meak. We're just friends.

She raised her eyebrow.

Randi: mhm. I just don't want nothin to hurt y'all relationship.

Me: don't worry, it won't.

Just then Wind It came on and Meak grabbed my hand.

Meak: come show me what you got (winks)

He pulled me over to the middle of the floor and got behind me as I started grinding. I could tell he was likin it cause he was grinding with me. I was so into it I wasn't even thinking about Prod, until looked up and saw Randi give me a look while she was dancing. I just grinned. The song ended and we took a break. Ofcourse Meak followed me off the dance floor.

Me: Ima go get a soda.

I walked to where the kitchen was with Meak following close behind. I had no idea where Prod was but I'd find him later. I poured some orange soda into a cup and leaned against the counter.

Meak: wow, you were really good out there.

Me: thanx, I guess. It wasn't all that.

Meak: I didn't know you could get down like that.

Me: (laughs) I guess can dance a little.

Meak: right, a little.

Me: (giggles)
