Once upon a time there was a young girl, her name was Hollie. She lived in a castle on a hill, she lived with her mother and father along with her four brothers, Jacob, Logan, Elias and Isaac. Her family weren't poor, they weren't rich either. Hollie was a princess of an enchanted kingdom..
I'm kidding. This isn't that kind of story. No princess. No enchanted kingdom. Maybe not even a happily ever after. But there is a Hollie. And there is her parents and four brothers. There's the boy next door. And this is the story  of Hollies life.
From the outside her life may seem all pretty and perfect but in reality that's not it. Her dads always at work and her moms always at the bar or the club or something. Probably cheating. Hollie has four brothers there's Jacob and Logan and they're twins and are 11. There's Elias and he's 13. Hollies nearly 14. And then there's Isaac whose 16. Isaac used to be fun. But when he turned 15 it all just stopped. He started going out to parties, hanging out with girlfriends. He was never home. No fun with his family. Elias is normally on his video games. And the twins, well they're just pranks and chaos. And that leaves Hollie.. alone. With hardly anyone to talk to. Well, that's until you bring in her friends. Let's start with India. Indie for short. India has been there since the start. Since kindergarten, since before kindergarten! India is her number one best friend. Then there's Hayden. 'The boy next door'. Well the thing is, he doesn't really live next door to Hollie. He lives across the road. They've lived by each other since they were six. They were so close in elementary school but once middle school started Hayden got really popular and thing are just, well, not the same anymore. Okay, well you've heard enough.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. It was Monday. Hollie reached over and hit the alarm multiple times until it turned off. She dragged herself out of bed and put on a grey and white belly top with some black leggings and high top shoes. She wore a black zipper jacket over it. She brushed her think pretty, curly and frizzy hair and went downstairs to make breakfast where she found her mom lying on the white marble kitchen floor.
"Mom?? Wake up! What are you doing?" she exclaimed down at her mom.
"Sorry honey.. bad hangover." Her mother said as she dragged her feet up the newly carpeted stairs. Hollie made her breakfast and sat down to eat it. Before she could take one bite. WOOSHHH! The twins came running past her and poured gooey slime all over the food.
"Jacob!! Why would you do that?!" She yelled.
"It's fine! You can just make a new one." He said back.
"There's no time." Hollie muttered," looks like no breakfast for me." she said whilst looking at the glass clock. The time said 7:45am and that meant the bus was here. Hollie grabbed her hype school bag and ran outside to the bus. Once she got on the bus she saw India sitting near the back. Hollie went and sat down next to her and told her about her day so far.
"Wait, why didn't you eat? We have PE first and we're doing the 1200m run!" India said whilst rummaging through her bag for food.
Hollie felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and it was Hayden.
"Here." he said whilst handing her a granola bar. Bur before she could thank him he had turned around and continued talking to his friends. His popular friends.
They got to school and registered as normal and went to their first lesson, PE.
When they were in PE they did the 1200m run and surprisingly Hollie finished 7th out or around 60-80 kids. Indie finished 10th and Hayden was 3rd. Their next lesson was geography and then French, maths followed by English. School finished at 3:45. When Hollie was walking home she heard someone calling her name,
"Hollie! Hollie! Your dropped your book!!" She turned around and is was Hayden.
"Thanks." She said as she grabbed it from him and continued walking away from him.
"Aren't you gonna wait for me?" he snapped .
"Sorry." She said quickly. As he caught up with her.
"I'm getting this strange feeling that you're mad at me." He said.
"What makes you say that?" She accidentally said sarcastically.
"Well, for starters you haven't talked to be since that seventh grade fair trip. And we're in eighth now." he replied.
"That was only in May. It's only been five months."
"Exactly Hol! Five months!" He yelled.
"Don't call me Hol." She said," I don't like it anymore."
"Sorry, sorry. Anyway how's your mom doing." he said, trying to make conversation.
"She's good." Hollie lied.
"What about the twins and Elias.? Haven't seen them in a while."
"Pranks, gaming and more pranks." Hollie finished. " well this is my house sooo... bye?" She said running inside.
"By--" before he could finish she slammed the door.
