Daejung woke up from his sleep and looked around the room. He did not see his mother anywhere. Probably in the bathroom, he thought.

He stood up and walked with his small legs toward the kitchen counter where a small vase of cactus was. He pulled a chair to the counter and filled a cup with water from the sink and watered the small plant. It kind of his morning routine to do that. Woke up in the morning and water the cactus.

"G-grow up w-well, Coco-yaa~ you n-need to fight t-the J-Jombies!" He said.

Yup! The cactus had a name, Coco. And Daejung had this high hope that Coco will grow up to be a giant cactus that will protect their home from zombies if he water it daily and feed it enough sun light, which doesn't really recuired his help.

After making sure Coco gulped down all of the water he feed him, yes, Daejung was convinced it was a boy, he went back to the living room. He was about to jump on the bed when he saw his mother's phone on the table.

He took it and turned it on. Searching for the 'plant' game icon and played it. He went to the mattress and got onto his tummy. Hands busy with the phone.

"J-jombie!! Don't e-eat me!! Hajimaa!!" He yelled.

He was too emersed with the game, he did not even realised his mom came out of the bathroom and started preparing breakfast at the kitchen.

"Chu! Chu! K-kill J-ombies!!"

Yewon who was busy at the kitchen glanced at her son and giggled at the boy's cuteness. He was never quite when it comes to games. Just like him...

"Omma!!"

Yewon smiled as Daejung suddenly hugged her legs as she were standing in front of the stove. Daejung must have just realised her there.

"Dae... you will have to stay with Hana again today, ok?"

Daejung pout as he let go of his mother's legs. He hated it when his mom left her to work, which is everyday actually.

"O-omma, c-can Dae go to w-work with Omma?" Dae asked as he sat on the chair he previously used to climb up the counter to feed Coco.

"Hmm... let me think... no."

Yewon laughed at his son expression. How can he be so cute when he frown?

"Then... br-bring me to Appa!"

Yewon stopped laughing instantly as Daejung mentioned the man. He always threatened her with that kind of request. Something she could not fulfil even if she wanted to.

"Dae, baby, listen here, one day, one day you will meet your Appa, but not now, ok?"

Yewon caressed her son's chubby cheeks and looked lovingly at the boy's round doe eyes. Daejung nodded even though his eyes were fill with clear tears. Yewon knew he tried to hide them as he did not like his mom being sad.

"Bye baby, don't forget what I told you. Be a good boy and get along with Hana."

Yewon kissed the boy and waved at him as she went off to work, leaving Daejung with Hana and her aunt, Yuna.

"Dae! Let's play!" Hana yelled as she pulled Daejung inside the apartment, sitting down in front of the TV which displayed some music shows.

"No! H-hana, Dae w-want to s-study!"

Daejung said as he let go of Hana's small hand and took a colouring book and crayons from his backpack. He opened the book and start colouring a bunny.
