Jungkook lied at the middle of the twins' nursery room. His eyes were staring blankly at the ceiling. It was two in the morning and Jungkook just get to rest his body.

The twins would woke up and cried for his attention regardless of what time it was. They came in package so if one woke up, the other would be up too.

They were having crying competition as Aegi would describe it and she would get a scolding from her brother. Jungkook could never contain his laughter every time that happen. He was not trying to flex but his children were really the cutest bunnies ever.

A chuckle left his thin lips as the taught crossed his mind. Then just like any other night, when he was alone and was left to himself which does not happen a lot this day. He thought of her.

His wife.

Kim Yewon.

The missing piece of their little family. The one that the children and him hope would be home soon with them.

His train of taught brought him to that day. Two months before the twins were due.

Jungkook was not home because he was busy in the practicing for their new comeback. He wish he did not go to practice that day. If only he knew what would happen. If only...

"Jungkook! Jungkook!" He remembered Jimin's voice calling him as the older rushed to turn off the speaker in the practice room.

The young father stopped practicing his dance move and looked at Jimin as he walked towards him.

"Yewon's in the hospital. You need to get there now!" Jimin yelled. It was so obvious that the young man was trying to stop himself from panicking for the sake of Jungkook.

"What do you mean? She's in the hospital? Why would she be there?" Jungkook asked. Trying to make sure he didn't hear Jimin 's words correctly.

"Stop asking! Just go! Manager hyung's waiting for you in the car! Go now!"

Jungkook started to feel his lungs having difficulty getting in air as the news sink in. He didn't wait for another words to leave the older lips as he sprinted out of there.

"She fell and started bleeding. I got a call from Daejung and rushed to your house."

Yuna explained as Jungkook came with sweat all his face and body. The young woman put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder in attempt to calm him down.

"Come sit here. You need to calm down"

Jungkook decided it would be best to do as Yuna asked him to.

"What did the doctor said?" He asked. Yuna only told him that Yewon was being treated in the emergency room.

"When I came, Daejung was in front of the house, crying. He was crying for help from the passerby cars." Yuna explained and it broke Jungkook heart into pieces.

He looked at his phone a saw tons of missed calls from Yewon's number. It was probably Daejung, trying to call him.

Now he felt useless.

"When I came in, Yewon... She was lying on the bathroom floor covered in her own blood. Aegi besides her. Crying."

Jungkook couldn't imagine how scared the kids were. If only he didn't decided to go to practice.

"She was barely conscious. She kept on whispering something."

Yuna looked at Jungkook. Her eyes told him that she's about to say something unpleasant. Not that everything she had tell him was not bad enough.
