Taehyung's POV

Now the car ride home was...more awkward than the one to the store. Jennie and mom being in the front and me and Yeri in the back seats. None of us saying a word. Yeri silently humming while listening to music with her earphones.
Mom looking very tense while driving through traffic.

Once we arrived me and my siblings decided to go sit by the kitchen counter and wait until mom's ready to explain.

"So.....are you excited seeing the new school?" Yeri smiled at us excitedly. I swear to god this kid never stops smiling.

"Yeri, I'm positive that mom's just messing with us. She's just playing along to Tae's prank."
I sent Jennie a glare. "Wasn't a prank sis."
Jennie smirked. "Sure Tae, cause you're the most trustworhty person ever right?"

Yeri frowned. "Ok it does sound like one of Tae's pranks..."
I gasped "Hey where's the respect?"
She raised an eyebrow at me "I'm not gonna call you oppa bitc-"

"Hey! Children calm down." Mom walked towards us and sat across Jennie and next to me.

She still looked very worried and nervous about something, so Jennie held her hands.

Mom smiled at her and started talking.
"So....you're all probably confused right now?" We all nodded and mumbled quiet "yeah"s.
"Well...what do I start with..first of all,..." her voice shook so she stopped for a moment.She looked like she was going to cry so Jennie squeezed her hand. "Mom, you can tell us...It's okay." Yeri half smiled at her and I nodded.

Mom looked at us all and took a deep breath. "I'm not your mother kids."

"WHAT?" we gasped. Yeri had raised her hands to her mouth in shock, Jennie looked like she was about to punch somebody and I was just utterly confused.

Minji looked down.
"Yes I'm not your mother. Your real mother is well probably dead. Her name is, or was Taeyeon." "What the actual fuck" I mumbled.

"And.." she continued "You all know the uhhh Harry Potter series right?"
I nodded , Jennie shrugged unsurely because she had only seen the first movie, and Yeri nodded vigorously, her being the biggest Harry Potter fangirl i know.

"Well...I know this might seem crazy...but magic exists."

Yeri gasped and me and Jennie just snickered. Whatever thoughts we had of her being honest were washed away now. She was just playing a prank right?Because...no way. Magic cant be real it's not possible...right?Jennie decided to take the lead .

"Okay...so let's assume that magic IS real. Then show us."
