Yeri shut the door to her siblings' compartment and smiled to herself while moving forwards in the corridor. She glanced at the seats but all of them were full of students that were busy talking with their friends and didnt notice her.

At nearly the end of the train there was an almost empty compartment. Just one girl was sitting in there, and reading a magazine while also petting her cat who was sitting on the seat too. She had dirty blonde almost curly hair and was wearing a cozy looking orange sweater.

Yeri dusted her sweater and tracksuit off and smiled as she opened the door. The girl looked up

"Uh...hi. Can I come in here? All the other spots are taken."
She fiddled with the paws of her own multicoloured sweater.

The girl who was sitting down smiled and nodded.
"Sure."
Yeri sighed of relief and sat down facing the other girl. She continued reading the magazine. But Yeri wanted to communicate and make friends. She didn't like silence very much. Well, especially awkward silence. So she spoke up.

"I'm Yerim by the way. Or Yeri. Just call me Yeri."
The girl looked up
"I'm Dahyun."
She then looked at Yeri like she was trying to figure out something.
"Wait. How old are you?"
"Uhh I'm 16."
"Oh..." Dahyun tilted her head. "What house are you in? I swear to god I haven't seen you in Hogwarts before."
Yeri gulped and played with her sweater again.
"I don't know yet. I'm new."
Now Dahyun sat her magazine aside next to her cat that was sleeping peacefully.
"How can you be new at Hogwarts?" she gasped "Wait, are you a muggle?"

Yeri's eyes widened and she shook her head. "No, no! I'm a witch I swear! I haven't really cast any spells since that Ollivander's trip but...I can magic! It's just... complicated?"

Dahyun shrugged and nodded her head.
"It's okay. I understand. Sometimes families are tough."
She reached out her hand and Yeri shook it even though she liked hugs alot more.
"I'm also 16.I'm almost 17 tho. And I'm a Hufflepuff. Which by the way is NOT the worst house."
She rolled her eyes. "Some people hate Hufflepuff with a passion."

Yeri chuckled. Then Dahyun's cat meowed and the girl picked the white ball of fluff up.
"This is Ari by the way. She's a cutie, isn't she." Dahyun giggled as Ari licked her hand.

Suddenly the door flew open and a boy rushed in plopping down to a seat nearly crushing Yeri's trunk.
He was gasping for air and sweating a little as she looked over at Dahyun clearly not having noticed Yeri yet.

After a few seconds of the boy still breathing, and Dahyun trying to hold back her laughter looking at Yeri's extremely confused face, the boy lifted a finger.
"I am never," he sat up and looked at Dahyun. "making a bet with you , ever again."
Dahyun started laughing and slapping her thighs as the boy looked to her left to find Yeri and jumped a little.

"Whoa..uhh..okay. Who are you?" He looked back at Dahyun who was still howling. She pointed at Yeri and then herself but couldn't form any words so Yeri spoke up.
"I'm Yeri. Kim Yerim.I'm uhhh Dahyun's new friend I guess." she shrugged and looked at Dahyun with a slightly worried face cause the girl had just fallen down to the train floor shaking with laughter and Ari was also staring down at her.

"Umm...is she okay?" the younger girl asked the boy who was clearly better friends with Dahyun.
The boy shook his head."Nope. Anyways I'm Kang Yuchan, nice to meet you." He made finger guns at Yeri who tried to smile but was still glancing at Dahyun that had sat up again and was wiping her tears a bit overdramatically one could say, since Yuchan rolled his eyes "Seriously it isn't even that funny. I could've gotten killed! She sent some frickin Griffyndor boys chasing after me! Do you know how hard it is to run in a moving train??"

Dahyun tried to calm herself down so she wouldn't start laughing again.
"Oh my god." She finally said and looked at the boy. "Chan, you seriously asked the Im Nayeon how many pounds of makeup she has on toda-"
"Well you told me to."
"I didn't know you'd take a bet that seriously, it's just one chocolate frog!!!"

Chan put his hands infront of his face and groaned for a good 5 seconds.
"Omg she's going to kill me. They're all going to kill me. The whole school is going to kill me."
Dahyun shook her head and smirked
"Ugh come on it's not that bad. I won't kill you. Well atleast not for that reason."

Then Dahyun looked at Yeri.
"Sorry for that." she chuckled."This is Chan. He's 16 too, but he's younger than me and that means he's a fetus." another sigh came from Chan.
"He's pretty much my best friend. But we have nothing going on believe me noononono."
A muffled "Ew." came from Chan that had hid his face to his suitcase.

"Oh." Yeri coughed awkwardly. "Uhhh what house is he in?.."
Chan lift his head. "I'm in Hufflepuff the best house of the school. All the Gryffindors can shu-"
"Ugh Chan shh." Dahyun turned to Yeri. "But yea it's true."

"Wow, you guys seem such great friends." Yeri smiled, feeling just a little left out.
Chan shrugged but Dahyun smiled.
"Hey don't worry, you'll find friends too. But for starters, we could be your friends. I know we aren't quite the full package bu-"
"No, you guys are perfect friends," Yeri interrupted "I swear." She smiled and Dahyun smiled back at her.
Chan lifted his finger with his face still at his suitcase and pointed at Yeri.
"I like her. Let's keep her."

That sent both of the girls into laughter and made Chan blush.
After Yeri stopped laughing she looked at Chan to accidentally make eye contact with the other and quickly look away while also blushing just a little bit. As she stared out of the window she realized how lucky she was to find such good friends in such a small time.
