I was sittin on the couch waiting on Javon to get back from the shower. I realized he left his phone in here. It lit up and I saw the name " Emerald " on it. Me being nosey decided to look thru the messages.
To Emerald: Baby I'm bout to come over.
From Emerald: Okay. But when you gone leave her baby?
To Emerald: After she have her baby and we gonna keep it.
From Emerald: Okay baby see you later! 😏😘
I couldn't take it no more I wobbled upstairs and called my best friend August.
Me: Aye Aug.
Aug: Wassup ma
Me: Can I come over? I need to talk.
Aug: You know you dont have to ask.
Me: I know I just feel better asking.
Aug: Mmhhm okay ma.
Me: Okay see you in bout 20 minutes.
Aug: Aite ma.
I hung up and packed some clothes then went and got Kayla some.
Me: Come on Kay.
I said picking her up causing her to wake up.
I got the bags and put them in the car along with her booster then put her in and double checked I scrapped up.
I got in and drove off. August's house here I come.

I got out and went around the car then got Kay out. She was still sleep. I knocked on the door. Almost immediately he opened it and let us in.
Me: You got somewhere I can put her?
August: I'll put her in my bed.
I gave him Kayla.
Me: Thanks.
Aug: No prob.
He went upstairs then came back down.
Aug: So what's goin on?
Me: He's cheating.
Aug: Awww come here ma.
He pulled me into a hug and I cried on his shirt.
Aug: you wanna stay here?
Me: If it's not gonna be a problem cause if i-
Aug: You know it's not.
Me: I guess I can but only until I get back on my feet.
He nodded
Aug: Aite ma. You got some clothes?
Me: Yeah they in the car. I'll go get them.
I got up and walked outside. I opened the door and got the bags then walked back inside. I took them to the guest room then went to check up on Kayla. She was just waking up so I guess she woke up from the door. I took her downstairs with me. I couldnt carry her since I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant. I'm so ready to have this baby. I got her some food then went in the living room.
Me: Okay im back.
Aug: It's okay.
We sat and watched tv. Then I got Kayla dressed so I could take her to her dad's house.
As I walked downstairs I yelled
Me: Aye Aug I'm bout to go. You want something?
Aug: No ma.
Me: Aite. COME ON KAYLA.
I yelled back upstairs.
Kayla: Coming
We got in the car and left.
