Hoseok rests his elbows on the oak counter of his familiar work place, The Rabbit's Den, a small and homey café he had opened in the quieter part of Seoul. He inhales, enjoying the bitter scent of coffee and the sweet smell of pastries that mingle within the air. It calms the man, allowing him to relax as he waits for the early rush to start arriving for their morning coffees. As he waits at the register his mind can't help but wander to earlier in the morning on his way to open shop. It was just like most mornings, he was walking to work and as always he began walking towards Plethora of Petals, the flower shop across the street from The Rabbit's Den. And like most days he found himself slowing down as he walked past the shop. The door was propped open and the sickeningly sweet scent of flowers wafted through the air. Through the glass window he could see the familiar pink-haired florist who worked, delicately arranging flowers with his long, nimble fingers. Hoseok has seen the man many time since he opened the café. He was tall and lanky, with soft pink hair, plush lips and a face almost to beautiful to describe in words. His radiant beauty and delicate aura reflected the flowers he worked with. And Hoseok had immediately been infatuated with the stunning florist from across the street the first time he gazed upon him. The man had begun invading his thoughts lately. He would imagine how it would feel to be touched with the gentle, slender fingers of the florist, the same way he lovingly touched the petals of the flowers that filled the shop. Hoseok shivered at the intruding thought. He shouldn't think about the man like that, he hadn't even formally met him, he didn't even know his name. His thoughts were halted, however, by the light ringing of the bell attached to the front door, signaling that it was time to get to work. Hoseok stood up straight and smiled, ready to begin taking orders and brewing coffees, allowing the tall man to leave his thoughts for the time being.
Hyungwon owned and worked at a small flower shop in Seoul. He named it Plethora of Petals at his mom's suggestion. The slender male grabbed a pot of yellow roses for an order someone had called in earlier. He gently touched one of the rose's petals and sighed wistfully. The man had asked Hyungwon to arrange a bouquet for him to give to his wife as an apology, so he had picked yellow roses which symbolizes apology and undying love among other things. He reached for one of his floral knives and began cutting several of the roses by the bottom of their stems until he had enough for a small bouquet. He then grabbed his thorn stripper, which his friend and client Kihyun had shamelessly laughed at upon hearing its name. Hyungwon rolled his eyes at the memory as he began removing each of the roses' dangerous thorns. Delicately he bundled the flowers together and wrapped the stems together with floral tape. He then went over the tape with twine and grabbed some of his brown wrapping paper and gently wrapped the bouquet up. He then finished off by grabbing a small tag from one of the draws beneath the counter and grabbed a pen. In neat cursive writing he wrote the man's requested message: "I am so sorry, please forgive me." He attached the tag to the bouquet and sighed. Poor woman he thought, he probably cheated. Yellow roses also symbolize infidelity. He set the bouquet aside and waited for the man to arrive to pick it up. Before going back to watering his flowers Hyungwon couldn't help but glance across the street at the now bustling coffee shop. He looked at the man working behind the counter. He had light brown hair and a muscular build and was smiling happily at a customer who appeared to be ordering. He blinked and wondered where the sudden urge to look towards the café had come from. He turned back towards his shelves of flowers and began watering a pot of purple lilacs.
