Hyungwon's cheeks dust a bright pink at having been caught talking about the barista by Hoseok himself and mutters a quiet thank you for the drink. He can see Kihyun smiling, crossing his arms smugly. Hyungwon felt a pit in his stomach, he had a bad feeling about the way Kihyun looked right now.
Hoseok hadn't heard everything the two boys had loudly whispered, but he had heard the part about Hyungwon having just met him and then something about no. He was going to try and figure out what Hyungwon had said no to but he was interrupted by the boy with the faded red hair.
Kihyun can't help but smirk, looks like he was right about getting to mess with Hyungwon, he knew just what to do with an opportunity like this.
"I'm sorry Hyungwon!", he pretends to look frantically at his watch, "But I really have to go edit these photos! My deadline is in two hours!" He fumbles for his bag acting as if he needed to rush out of the store.
"W-what... but.." Hyungwon stammers, the confusion on his face obvious.
"I know I promised but... Oh excuse me sir!", he turns to the barista, feigning an innocent look, "I promised my friend here that I would give him feedback on a flower arrangement he's working on for a wedding, but I really have to go! Would you mind helping him out?" Kihyun notices Hyungwon about to object, probably to call him out on his lies, but he stomps the boy's foot underneath the table, making the florist hiss quietly and send him an angry glance, but he stays quiet.
Hoseok is a bit confused at first, but he's always willing to help a customer if he can. He also really would like to get to know more about the mysterious florist he's already so fond of. So he nods with a smile.
"Sure thing! I'd love to help!"
The boy with the faded red hair utters a quick thank you before jogging out of the shop, leaving Hoseok and Hyungwon alone. Hoseok slowly takes the seat across from Hyungwon that had just been abandoned and smiles gently.
"So you work at the flower shop across the street right?" Hoseok says, trying to break the ice.
"Yeah... it's mine."
Hyungwon seems hesitant. Hoseok realizes this must be what he heard the two boys talking about earlier. Kihyun must have suggested that Hyungwon ask Hoseok for his opinion on the flowers but he didn't want to because they just met. That makes sense.
"Ah~, I see. Yeah, I own this cafe." He props his chin on his hand and leans down onto the table with his elbow. "Anyways, so you're working on a wedding, that sounds romantic! Is it stressful working on a big event or is it not so bad since you get to be part of a special event in someone's life?"
Hyungwon grits his teeth. He was going to murder Kihyun later for pulling this stupid stunt on him. He knew that Hyungwon was quiet and liked to keep to himself and would absolutely loathe being thrust into a situation like this. Now he had to lie, which he wasn't very fond of. The florist just barely catches the questions the barista asks him, having been distracted whilst silently seething.
"Oh... um, I guess it can be stressful sometimes since there are so many preparations necessary, but I really like getting to represent something so special with my flowers." He blushes slightly, taking a slow sip of his iced Americano. Hoseok did a good job, it was delicious.
Hoseok lets out a low hum in response. "So the arrangement? Do you have pictures?"
Hyungwon is lucky that he has pictures on his phone from when he was working on past arrangements. He takes out his phone and starts pulling up a picture of an arrangement that actually was for a wedding he had worked on. Suddenly, he feels something brush his arm. It's Hoseok. He had moved his chair next to Hyungwon. Very close to Hyungwon. Their arms were flush against each other as the barista leaned into him, looking at the now slightly trembling phone in his hands. Hyungwon gulps down on nothing but air as he feels his cheeks burning. God, why was he so close!? And why was he so warm!? And why did Hyungwon like it so much? Hyungwon glances down at the other, the barista's eye's are focused on the picture Hyungwon has on his screen, his curiosity evident.
"What flowers are these?"
Hoseok turns his gaze up to Hyungwon and is looking right into his eyes with a smile that Hyungwon would describe as being extremely cute. The florist's heart flutters in his chest.
"Celadines, Honeysuckles, and Primroses," Hyungwon says quietly, biting his puffy lower lip and averting his gaze from the handsome barista that's still leaning on him.
Hoseok had moved closer to Hyungwon to get a better look at the pictures so the florist wouldn't have to keep turning his phone around to show him. He leans into the man so he can see the photo displayed on the fluorescent screen. The taller boy smells sweet and earthy and Hoseok relishes in it as he looks with intrigue at the yellow flowers on Hyungwon's phone. So he looks up at the florist and asks what they are. Hyungwon responds, but Hoseok doesn't really hear it. Not because he says it quietly, which he does, but because of the way he bites his lower lip as he looks off to the side. Hoseok licks his lips, internally cursing himself for what he is about to do, but fuck the consequences. He needs this, he needs it now.
He grabs Hyungwons chin and pulls him down, closing his eyes and bringing his lips to his.
Hyungwon gasps and drops his phone into his lap as his head is jerked down but his voice is soon muffled. He is being kissed. He sits there eyes wide as Hoseok presses his lips onto Hyungwon's. He should pull away, he should be upset or angry or anything at all! But instead, he closes his eyes and loses himself to the soft lips dragging against his. He's too lost in the heavenly sensation to think about how he barely knows this man, how he's being a hypocrite for letting him kiss him after what he said to Kihyun. He throws his arms around Hoseok's shoulders and kisses back.
Hoseok feels the long thin arms wrap around his broad shoulders and plush lips moving against his. He responds by grabbing the taller boy by his waist an pulling him closer, kissing him with more pressure. A soft mewl erupts from Hyungwon's throat and god does Hoseok want to deepen the kiss, wants to hear more of those sounds come from the florist because of him, but he knows he's already doing something rash and unwarranted. Hoseok reluctantly pulls back, his breathing heavy as he tries to make up for the lack of oxygen in his lungs. It takes all his self-control to stay put when Hyungwon quietly whimpers when he takes his lips off of his. It only gets worse when he looks at Hyungwon, his mouth slightly open as his chest rises and falls rhythmically with his breathing; his eyes are half open and he's back to biting his lower lip gently. Hoseok prays he didn't just fuck up, cause he wants to see Hyungwon like this again.
wow ok there Hoseok. I wonder how Hyungwon will react once he snaps back to reality (oh there goes gravity!) I hope you liked this chapter, and if you're wondering, this isn't going to be smutty, cause I'm not comfortable writing that, but kisses are fine so you may get more of those depending on how I have Hyungwon react to this situation ;)
Hope you enjoyed, if you did vote to let me know and leave a comment! see you next chapter~
