A.N FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN READING:
YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T GONNA UPDATE ON NARU-CHAN'S BIRTHDAY?
WELL THINK AGAIN!
Yeah, you are right.
Kind of. I'm gonna do a little scene for Naru-Chan. Stay tuned for the end!
.....................................................................................................................................
7 years ago ( Naru-chan was 5)
Naruto sniffled as he woke up from a fitful sleep.
He never liked October 10th.
It was such as weird, ominous date, Naruto decided. It was that one day out of a whole entire year that bothered him for some reason.
Oh and he always had to stay inside his home. Naruto thought that it was suicide to walk out on the streets at night, on October 10th. It always terrified him to see the haunting faces of adults chasing and cornering him in a musty alleyway, where he usually nearly dies.
As a five year old, he can't do much. Can't get Sake, can't go and buy things and he can't go do much. So most of the time, Naruto trains with his companion, Kuruma, who completely adores him.
"Oi, brat. Whatcha going to do today."
"Not much." Naruto answered.
"Happy birthday, kit."
"Thanks Kuruma."
October Tenth always was ominous to him as he knew that people don't get beaten to death on their birthday.
Except him.
He wasn't like everybody else. He was a demon. And that's when a torrent of tears came streaming out of Naruto's sapphire eyes, knowing that he wasn't human. He was a bloodthirsty monster who tortured these people in the village.
And Kuruma couldn't change his views, no matter what he did to coax the kid out of drowning in the village's stupid beliefs.
................................................................................................................................................................
Hinata, Shikamaru, Kiba and Neji stealthy hid under Naruto's window, knowing that Naruto couldn't sense them as they somehow begged Kuruma to suppress Naruto's sensing abilities. It was funny, Hinata and Kiba decided, to see Neji and Shikamaru writing squiggly words in the sand or hand sign their plead to Naruto who couldn't understand a thing. But Kuruma could.
Shikamaru covered Hinata's mouth as tears escaped her eyes. Kiba had a look of pity on his face and Neji looked worried. Shikamaru himself struggled to hold his tears back from hearing Naruto's depressing speech. In the two years that Shikamaru bonded with Naruto, he had never heard Naruto's voice crackle like that.
He hoped that this plan would fix it.
"Hinata, can you and Neji take him to your house?"
Hinata sighed and stuttered through the tears.
"T-The E-e-elders won't al-allow Na-Naru i-in the compound."
Shikamaru gave a sigh. Being a five year old meant that he couldn't pound some common sense into the Elders. Apparently, Neji thought the exact same thing as he muttered a string of curse words which lead to Hinata giggling.
"Bring him to Hiashi. He should understand," Shikamaru hissed.
Hinata and Neji nodded as the 4 of them scurried off, Hinata and Neji moving to Naruto's front door while Shikamaru and Kiba hid behind pot plants that were situated 10 feet away from Naruto's door.
