Recap

"Robyn are you ready?" The leader of the facility asked me.

I nodded and leaned down to kiss my baby girl.

"Mommy loves you so much." She smiled at me and it warmed my heart.

I walked up the stairs and the women opened the door for me.

"Ready?" She asked me with a bright smile.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I sighed as the door closed behind me.

I was kinda shocked by elegance of the place I was thinking something totally diffrent. The women went to the receptionist dest and pulled out a map and gave it to me.

"This facility is big and we have plenty of indoor activities for you to do on your stay. First things first women have a wing for themselves and men have a wing for themselves of obvious reasons of course. The wemons wing is on the right." She ushered me down the hallway and with zillions of doors.

I looked at the map to locate exactly where she was taking me. First stop was my room. She showed me a blank white card with a RF on it in cursive.

"This is your room key. Nobody can get in and out unless you have this key. Only I and therapist have them. Sometimes they do sessions in rooms so the patient feels more comfortable to confide in them." She handed me the key and I scanned it.

The door opened itself and the room didn't look half bad

The door opened itself and the room didn't look half bad. Plus I had a nice view so I wasn't really complaining.

I walked around the room in a circle then stopped at the window. I looked out of it and sighed deeply. I missed my baby girl already.

"Is the room to your liking?" She asked as she took a few steps in the room.

"Yeah, it's comfortable I guess." I hopped back up and followed her out of the room.

She showed me the eating area, a few courtyards, fountains, reading rooms, and what hallway my therapist is in. We went to her office and she sat behind her desk.

She fished around in her desk drawer files and pulled out a folder

She fished around in her desk drawer files and pulled out a folder. She opened it and took out a blue slip of paper. She looked it over and handed it to me.

"Here is your schedule. I hope you find everything to your liking. If you have any inconveniences let me know personally." She smiled at me and crossed her arms on her desk.

"Thank you." I clutched the papers to my chest and I gave her a small smile before exiting her office.

As soon as I was out of her view I sighed and looked down at my feet. Suddenly I couldn't breathe and sat down on a near by bench to calm down. My heart was beating out of control. My chest got tight and I put a hand over my heart. I looked at the ceiling and sat the papers in my other hand next to me. I closed my eyes as I gasped for air.

The bench creeked next to me indicating that somebody sat down next to me. I shut my mouth and started breathing through my nose. I dropped my hands and straightened up proceeding to act normal. I opened my eyes and looked next to me. It was a gorgeous chocolate women smiling at me. She took my hand and noticed it was trembling. She furrowed her eyebrows at me as I let out a sigh I didn't even know I was holding.

"Everything will be okay you just gotta breathe. Would you like me to help you to your room?" Her voice was soft like her hands.

She was calming me down just with her presence she was so inviting. I nodded and she stood up giving me her hand to help me. I took them and lifted myself off the bench slowly. I grabbed my papers and she placed her arm over my shoulder leading me away.

I started at the floor I was almost embarrassed but the I remembered where I was. The people who worked here probably seen tons of things worst that me catching a panic attack. I tried to shake the feeling of eyes off me but I couldn't. The eyes are always gonna be on me. I sighed as we stopped and I looked up with my eyes furrowed.

"The key." She said softly and I made a o shape with my mouth and took the key out of my back pocket.

I scanned it and sat it back into my pocket. The women helped me open the door and led me to the bed. My bed. She helped me lay down on the pillows as I heard the door clicked closed. I sat my papers on the nightstand as I attempted to adjust myself in the bed. I finally got the feeling of my body back. I sank into the softness of the bed. The women stared down at me and I stared back at her. We both drew a breath at the same time. She was the first to speak.

"I am Ciara. From the looks of it I'm your therapist." She said glancing over the papers on my nightstand.

"Oh really, I'm sorry you had to see me l-" She cut me off with a laugh.

"This is what I do. Don't apologize." She said and crossed her arms across her stomach.

"I'll give you a day or two to settle in after I'll send for you for your first session." She said with a nod and started walking to the door.

"Welcome to your new home for the next few months Rihanna." She smiled at me and opened the door.

I heard the door click and I turned over in my side. I sighed and looked out the window. The city lights were slowly clicking on. I twiddled my thumbs and chewed on my cheek. Hopefully I can go through this with a breeze.
