katsuki eyes widen. but he didn't refuse, he nodded and both got up from the couch to get dressed and cleaned up. he helped izuku pick out what maternity clothes she's going to wear. she ended picking a floral blue dress paired with a purple tinted flowing kimono. she carefully dressed up and attempted to brush her hair because it's so curly

after the struggle, the couple went into the car and drove slowly. katsuki contacted the musu hospital about the girl that was in the burning building, and the phone operator said yes. izuku felt relief in her heart

when they finally got there, they had forgotten to put on hats and masks. so a swarm of ground zero and deku fans ran towards the hospital doors. the two pro heroes sweatdropped, they checked in and a nurse guided them to the room number where the girl is

" in there mr and mrs bakugou " the nurse knocked on the door, the nurse inside allowed the two in. on the bed was a sleeping girl, with no injuries

" mr and mrs bakugou, what's your relationship with this girl? " the nurse asked, they had forgotten that family members are only allowed to visit patients. katsuki cleared his throat

" ma'am, i was the one who saved her " he said, giving shock to the nurse who's standing next to the bed. it was obvious that katsuki is ground zero because of his spiky ash blond hair and red eyes. he didn't know why she got shocked when he had to tell her

" is there anything else? this girl will be taken to the orphanage because she has no guardian to be watc- " the nurse said before being interrupted

" about that, we were thinking of adopting her " izuku spoke up, both katsuki and the nurse had their mouths in an 'o'. she was so determined about her answer that the nurse nodded

" i'll contact the local orphanage about getting the adoption papers. she'll be happy to have you guys as her adoptive parents " she smiled, she left the room to possibly get the papers. izuku sat down near the little girl, she saw the growing horn on her forehead. she was wondering what quirk she has

" adopt? cupcake, we have our own child coming in. you don't know how she'll act! " katsuki protested. izuku scoffed, " izukie is all lot of trouble alr- "

" kacchan, as much as i agree with you. we can't just leave this poor girl in the orphanage! i know how worried you are about me right now with the whole izukie thing but i'm going to be okay. we just can't leave her. she could be adopted by some bad people " she said, knocking sense into her husband of two years. she stared into his eyes with boldness. katsuki can't counter her statement, he knew that izuku wanted her to be safe. she was right anyways

" fine, i was just making sure you're going to be alright with this with this " katsuki said with concern in his tone. izuku rubbed his hand that was on the white bed sheets, feeling the warmth from her hands calmed him

the sheets slowly shifted, the two looked at the girl who was slowly waking up. her eyes brows twitching, her eyes fluttered opened showing her small red eyes

" mama..? " she spoke, izuku didn't know what to say but stroke her soft white hair. comforting the scared and confused girl. " who are you..? " she kindly asked

" h- hi! i'm just here to make sure you're alright, it seems like it.. " izuku spoke to the six year old girl, the girl started to cry. freaking katsuki and izuku out

" hey hey! you're safe now! i'm the one who saved you from the building remember " pointing to himself , the girl stopped crying. wiping her tears from her red eyes. to izuku, her eyes are much like katsuki's, a deep crimson color that is very warm to look at

" where's mama and dada? "

" we don't know.. but you're going to have a new family after this, and i'm sure you're going to love them " izuku patting her little head. " what's your name? "

" my name? my name is eri "

it confused the couple that she didn't have a last name

" what's your quirk, squirt? " katsuki asked, izuku lightly nudging him for calling her squirt

" my quirk is rewind, i can return someone's body to their previous state " she fiddled with her hair, their jaws were dropped. it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop

" REWIND?! " they yelled, eri nodded. eri took something from her bag, a pin. she asked katsuki to give him her arm to demonstrate. she made a small cut, katsuki hissed. she placed both hands on each side of the cut, the skin slowly patched up the cut. it was like the cut was never there, her horn grow a little bit

" why did your horn grow? " the mesmerized katsuki asked eri, she fondled with her her. slowly going back to its original size

" it grows when i use my quirk, when i use it too much. it shows the power in every use "

" what's the limit of your quirk? " katsuki asked

" i don't really know, my grandpa doesn't allow me to use my quirk that much " eri mentioned a guardian, izuku's eyebrows cocked

" grandpa? was he with you in the building? "

she shook her head no. katsuki was about to speak but the door to the room creaked open. revealing the nurse that has the papers. she set them on the table near the sink

" oh eri! you're awake, here have some lunch " she pulled out a tray of food and placed it on the little desk that's been folded in front of eri. she jumped in excitement, she was served pizza, a juice mix and pudding. not so much of hospital food. " are you two ready to fill the papers? i've asked the person about you adopting her before she arrives at the orphanage. she's totally okay with this if you're wondering "

katsuki went over to the sink and picked up the papers. there was going to be a lot of filling things out. from both of their names to the child's information. the people at the orphanage signed the bottom because they know who they are and they trust the two of them

izuku looked back at eri who is happily eating. she rubbed her stomach to feel izukie

" izukie, you have an older sister. she'll be a great sister to you.. "

sorry that this chapter is a little short than i usually write. this was kinda a filler chapter. i'll be doing a time skip like a major time skip. i don't want y'all do be confused
