"Run your fingers through my hair and hide under my covers."
As sun shined through the picture window in the room Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy shared, Draco groaned and rolled onto his stomach. With shut eyes and a loud, annoyed sigh he move his hand around the bed in search for his fiancé. His hand moved across the bed sheet, and much to Draco's dismay, found no evidence that Harry was still in bed. With a huff and aggravated expression, Draco flipped over onto his back and sat up, rubbing his eyes as they adjusted to the sunlight. Harry must've opened the curtains before he left Draco alone. The blond slid out of bed, wasting no time in stomping out of the bedroom. He hated when Harry left him alone, and the ravenette knew that. Draco hated it because it reminded him of when he'd wake up in the middle of the night, in the small room hidden in the back of the hospital wing, and although half-asleep he'd reach out for Harry only to find that he still didn't have him near.
As Draco stomped out into the kitchen, he muttered angrily with furrowed brows. "Potter, what have I told you about—" He stopped in his steps, mouth agape at the man standing in the kitchen. Harry was looking down at a mug he had in hand, no shirt and pajama pants sitting low on his hips, making it obvious he had nothing underneath. He looked up and at Draco, eyebrows furrowed as he frowned slightly.
"We need to go pick some new tea up. This stuff you drink is disgusting." He said.
Draco rolled his eyes. "That's because you have no taste, Potter."
"In tea or in general?" Harry asked and Draco knew where this was going. "Because if it's in general, you just insulted yourself."
"Prat." Draco grumbled, grabbing the mug from Harry and putting it on the counter.
"Git." Harry replied as Draco drew him in by his arm, pressing a deep kiss to his lips. Harry sighed against Draco's lips, bringing a hand up to Draco's messy hair and tangling his fingers in the soft strands. When Draco pulled away, Harry pressed his forehead against the blonde's with a sigh. "G'morning." He whispered.
Draco chuckled. "Good morning."
"What were you on about when you walked in here?" Harry asked, leaning back slightly to look up at Draco.
"You weren't there." Draco grumbled. Harry furrowed his brows at him before he made a silent "oh" and frowned.
"I'm sorry. I was going to be all domestic like and make you breakfast, but we don't have anything here so.. I didn't."
"Don't be such a sap, Potter." Draco scoffed, walking away from Harry to grab a teacup and saucer from one of the cabinets, grabbing his favorite tea bags and placing one into the large kettle of hot water sat on the stove. Harry picked up the mug Draco had taken from him moments earlier, walking over to the sink and pouring what was left - which was quite a lot - down the drain as Draco made his tea. However, when Draco heard the sound of liquid going down the drain, he was quick to scold Harry.
"How dare you throw such perfectly fine tea down the drain!" He exclaimed, turning to face Harry who had his nose scrunched up.
"I'd like to disagree, Malfoy. It's atrocious."
"Once again, no taste." Draco muttered, raising the teacup he held to his lips to take a sip. Harry watched contently, a smug smile on his face at the aggravation on Draco's.
"You know you love me." He teased.
"That has nothing to do with it." Draco said, pointing a finger at Harry, sipping his tea before talking. "And you know it."
Harry snorted. "It's a miracle we're together." He sighed loudly, walking out of the kitchen to dress for work. Draco watched him as he always did, rolling his eyes with a smile. Once Draco had his tea and read The Daily Prophet, enjoying Pansy's article about bachelors in the wizarding world which mostly consisted of her throwing Draco's name out there and how he no longer was one, he too got dressed for work. Harry was already ready to go, his robes slewn over him as he placed his shoes on. Draco strode out of their bedroom and to Harry who was leaning down by the door of their flat, only to lean down behind the man and whisper.
