Months after Harry and Draco's wedding, all was well, surprisingly enough. Draco had gotten to go abroad, Harry tagging along, to help some people in Scotland after a series of riots. Harry was doing much better when it came to his nightmares, taking care of himself and being around people. Now, with Teddy Lupin in their care, they had been happier than ever. Apart from Draco, who was looking to put someone's eye out.

"Teddy! Teddy, stop!" Draco yelled as he ran around their new home, attempting to catch Teddy Lupin. Though the boy wasn't exactly a toddler anymore, he was still a rascal. "Teddy, will you just come sit down?!" The boy giggled, running up the staircase with Draco not too far behind him, heading towards Harry's study. "Don't you dare." Draco yelled. Teddy ran directly into Harry's study, scaring Harry when he had begun to yell.

"He's chasing me! He's chasing me!" Teddy yelled, running to Harry and jumping up on him.

"Why is he chasing you?" Harry exclaimed.

"Because he's being a brat and won't sit still!" Draco huffed as he came around the corner into Harry's study. Harry eyed Teddy and the boy giggled.

"But I don't wanna read."

Harry chuckled, picking Teddy up off his lap and placing down. "Doesn't matter if you don't want to, Teddy, you have to."

He pouted. "Do I?" He whined. Harry nodded.

"Yes. Now, promise me you'll go downstairs and listen to Draco."

Teddy grumbled and Harry gave him a stern look. With a huff, little Teddy Lupin nodded and stomped away from Harry and out of the study, back downstairs to do as told. Draco huffed as he looked at Harry and the ravenette laughed.

"What?"

"How on Earth are you able to get him to listen?!"

"You're not very kind at your approaches, Draco." Harry mumbled, looking back to the papers he had been working on prior to being frightened.

"Not very kind, my arse." Draco muttered, walking over to Harry who looked back over to him. "Maybe if you'd stop spending all your time in here you could help me."

Harry frowned. "I don't spend all my time in here."

"You know what I mean, Scarhead. Just, come downstairs and help me with this wild,"

"Oh stop being dramatic." Harry said, standing up from his chair at his desk and looking at Draco. "Besides, you're more than capable."

"I hate you." Draco grumbled.

Harry smiled. "I love you too."

Draco muttered something along the lines of "prat" before pulling Harry towards him. He pecked Harry's lips quickly before giving him a smirk and walking out of the study, Harry grumbling behind him as he was followed. When they made their way downstairs and into the living area, Teddy was sat on the couch with his legs crossed, lips pursed.

"What's the matter?" Harry asked, walking over to the almost five year old.

"I miss my mommy and daddy." Teddy muttered. Harry frowned, wrapping his arms around the small child and holding him close.

"I know." He whispered. "I miss them, too.."

Draco watched as Teddy curled up to Harry, a frown on his face as he held onto him. He frowned too, feeling terribly sorry for the child. Though he may get frustrated with Teddy, he did love him.

"But they're always here." Harry assured. "Always here watching over you. Just like my parents are with me."

Teddy looked up at him. "Always?"

Harry nodded. "Always. Now, what do you say instead of reading you head on up to bed? Tomorrow we're going to Aunt Hermione's. She wants to do any early birthday party, sort of, for you."

"I don't like parties." Teddy huffed, crossing his arms.

"It'll only be her, your grandmother, Ron, Draco and I. Promise."

Teddy sighed and nodded, a pout still on his face. "All right."

"Go on. We'll be up in a minute." Harry assured, watching as Teddy shuffled out of the living area. Draco frowned at Harry and the raventte sighed.

"I know what it's like for him. I think what's best is if we do talk about them."

"You're right. I feel bad for him, though."

"But you never felt bad for me." Harry teased. Draco laughed, sitting beside Harry, pulling him into his side.

"I did."

"Yeah?"

"Terrible."

Harry chuckled, resting his head on Draco's shoulder.

"I love you, Harry." Draco muttered, pressing a kiss to his husband's head. Harry smiled.

"I love you too, Draco."

Now content, living in a home, raising Teddy, Harry's best friends expecting their first child, Carrow locked away and life seemingly going as they once planned it to, Harry and Draco were happier than ever. And although things were bound to get bumpy at times, that's how their relationship worked and the two wouldn't have it any other way. Through years of fights at school and hexes in hallways, between the death and chaos, Draco's death and his coming back in the midst, the war.. so much had changed them both in ways that couldn't been seen. Harry's fright. Draco's regrets. Harry's sadness. Draco's anger. Harry's regrets. Draco's scars. Though everything stood as reminders of everything they'd been through, those things did in fact remind them that they were strong. They were strong enough to get through their years in Hogwarts, strong enough to get through war and strong enough to endure what the pasts months had held.

The two were strongest together and Harry and Draco couldn't imagine themselves with anyone other than each other. Their love was stronger than any other force and would be, until death do them part.
