On Guard

Chapter 9

"Say, do you wanna have some fun?" He said quietly as he pushed me to the wall and smiled.

How did this even happen.

*Flash back to a few hours ago*

Me and Minjae were forced to get into the car because Jihye nagged us to and she kept saying that it'll save us the transportation money. We finally gave up and went into the car. I sat at the right closest to the door. Minjae sat right beside me.

The four of us were squished in the back but I was the most squished because I had so many bags and Minjae's Ditch was squishing me from the front. Why do people like these kind of cars anyway.

Apparently the jerk saw my position from the rear mirror and he laughed.

"What's so funny Jongyeol - ah?" Jihye asked.

"The tiny chihuahua is getting squished by the weight of all her food." He said mockingly.

I just stayed quiet and looked out the window, pouting. I was happy and tired enough and I didn't want to ruin the mood.

"Let me help bring some of your stuff." Taewoo said as he turned to the bag to get some of the bags.

Everyone was shocked at how he responded, even the jerk. He looked at everyone with a confused face and said, "What?"

"Nothing. It's just the Taewoo I know doesn't volunteer to hold someone's bag for them." Jiwon said.

"Helping out once in a while is okay." He said quietly.

I tried to lean a bit to the front to say something to Taewoo. "Thanks, Taewoo - ssi." I whispered from the back of the seat. He turned his face a bit, looked back to the front and said, "No problem."

"By the way, what were you guys doing together outside? It's rare to see you two together." Jihye asked.

"Taewoo had to buy a new phone. His car is being repaired so he asked me to take him to the Samsung store." Jongyeol replied for Taewoo.

"Ah. You guys want to grab some food? We didn't eat lunch yet." Jihye asked.

"Sure, let's go." Jongyeol said.

"Actually, i'll pass. I need to get home and do some other stuff." I said, trying to hide the fact that I didn't want to be with the jerk more than I needed

"Eh? It'll be a while only though. We won't take long." Jihye said.

"Nah, it's okay. I feel sorry for the canteen ladies too. I'll eat there later."

"I'll come too." Minjae and Taewoo said at the same time. 

I looked over to Taewoo's seat and everyone did too. Jongyeol also stopped the car but it was at a traffic stop.

"What's gotten into you today?" Jongyeol said.

"Nothing. I don't feel like going out after this. If you guys still want to go, you can drop the three of us and we can walk to the bus station." He said.

"Arasseo." Jongyeol then unlocked the car doors. "You can go now."

"Good, thank you" I said.

"Pussy." He whispered as he snickered a bit.

"Let's go, don't want to be smushed by one of the cars." I said as I closed the door and pushed the boys away from the road.

"Ciao." Jongyeol signaled as the car drove away.

"Ciao." I mimicked him in a disgusting tone.

"He even called you a pussy. Gross." Minjae said in a kind of disgusted tone too.

"Why in the world would you prefer to go with him rather than going on the bus?" I asked Taewoo.

"Because it's free? Plus he's my cousin so he'd agree to it anyway." He said.

"Ah, I see- WAIT. COUSIN?!?!?" I said shocked. Minjae looked shocked too.

"I thought you knew?"

"Uh, No? How can someone like that be related to an angel like YOU?!?!" I said.

"Well I think angel is a bit overrated but yes I guess you could us related."

"I hope you didn't mind us hating him. He deserved it." 

"Well I mean, who wouldn't after someone called them a pussy."

"I have a feeling that us three would make a great team." Minjae said as he wrapped around his arm around Taewoo's neck and my neck.

"Haha, dream on bud. You'd destroy it even before we become a team." I said in a sarcastic tone.

"At least it's better than you bossing us around everyday." 

The both of us were staring into each others eyes and we were building up a heavy tension.

"K-kaja?" Taewoo said, killing the tension.

"Ne. It's pretty late already." I said. " Let's catch the bus shall we?"

"Yeah."

We walked to the nearest bus station and caught it as it was almost leaving. We got to the campus safely and parted with Taewoo. He said that his room was also on the second floor and we might be able to come over once in a while.

"It's a thought." He said quietly.

"Aish. Just say that you need company." Minjae said as he shouldered him.

"Who said that? I have my stuff to keep me awake." He said slowly.

"Arasseo arasseo, i'm going to fetch some food in the canteen. See ya Taewoo - ssi." I waved goodbye as I walked to the canteen.

As I walked to the canteen, I looked back to see if Minjae was catching up but it turned out that he went with Taewoo upstairs. I think he found his long lost brother.

I gave a little laugh and I headed for the canteen. God I was so starving. I hurried off to the canteen but my hand was suddenly pulled out of nowhere I was dragged into a dark, little room and I was panicking.

"H-hello...?" I said slowly.

A small, dim light turned on and a tall, manly figure came out. His posture looked really familiar and as the light shone on him, it revealed the face I didn't want to see the most.

"Miss me? Kitten?" He teased.

I remained silent and I avoided eye contact but I just couldn't help looking at him.

"Awh, don't be shy kitty. I've been paying attentions to your actions for the day and from your little "brawl" yesterday, you caught my eye." He said, sticking eye contact and piercing me with his eyes. My chest started hurt for a bit.

"Say, do you want to have some fun with me." He said quietly as he pushed me to the wall and smiled.

I looked down. My heart started beating quicker. I couldn't think straight. I admit, I was scared. All I could think of were the scenarios that would happen if I were to stay still and give in. I prayed that Minjae would come save me.

"S-Stop it, please." I pleaded as I pushed him away.

"Too late." He said.

He was about to kiss me until the door broke open and a guy punched him in the face, leaving him hurting on the ground.

"What in the world do you think you're doing."
