CAMP

Chapter 1

JESS POV

Hi, I'm Jess. I have long brown hair, blue eyes,

I'm 5 1/2 feet tall and I'm 16.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* the loud alarm wakes me up.

"7:30" I mumble to myself as I get to my feet. I still need to pack for ROCK N ROLL camp. I had signed up last year in advance because they had a special offer only to those who signed up before January of 2k14.

Many people come from around the world to go to this camp but I was lucky enough to only live 45 mins away.

School had just ended 2 weeks ago and now I'm already packing up my stuff to go to a camp for the WHOLE summer. I'm suppose to get back a week or so before school starts up again, but that means I won't see my family or friends for a really long time. That also means if I make friends at camp (key word: IF) I'll have to say goodbye to them after only knowing them for about 3 months.

----- 2 hours later -----

After I finished packing all my stuff, my family piled in the car and off we went. I played music the whole ride there, ignoring the thoughts that swirled around in my head. Once we arrived I went inside the main office, checked in, and then got my room key. The whole summer I'm going to have to live in a small dorm with a random stranger and share a gross bathroom...great.

As I walked up to the huge brown building surrounded by flowers, I noticed some people already outside hanging with each other... man, I wish I could make friends that fast.
A pink headed boy spotted my eye but since I was in such a hurry, I didn't get quite a good look at him.

I had made it to my dorm and swiped my key, the door made a loud 'CLICK' and I walked in.
There stood a tanned girl with long black hair and piercing green eyes. She seemed a bit taller than me.

I smiled and said "hi, my names Jessica, but you can call me Jess."

she smiled back and said "Tori..." she shook my hand... "hey... nice nose ring" she added on. "Thanks" I said in reply. I scanned the room, it was huge! The beds were queen sized and it had desks on both sides of the room and EVERYTHING. " I could get use to living in here." I mention to Tori while pointing out the fanciness of our dorm. She nods her head in response.

I was very curious so I started opening my drawers and looking around the room, and then I came to a door right next to my bed.

"Is this a closet?" I ask Tori.

"No, you know how in like Hotels and stuff they have that one door that connects you and your neighbors room? Yeah, well that's what it is." She states.

"Oh..." I smile, " Then who are our neighbors?" I asked.

"Um, two dudes... Michael and Luke"

"Wow, they put girls next to guys???" I said kinda shocked.

"yeah, idk they probably don't care that much... we'll get to hear all the 'rules' later after everyone is done packing"

"Oh, okay."

I start to unpack my stuff quickly.

thoughts start popping into my head... Have I made a new friend already???
