Finn Shelby - The Midwife

1.New Girl In Town.

Finn's POV

"C'mon John we're going to be late again and you know what Tommy's like when somebody is late" 

"Hold on for fuck sake Finn, he's not going to kill us he'll just have to wait" John shouted from upstairs. 

"Yeah well if you stopped fucking Esme every living second of your life we wouldn't be late" 

"Just fuck off Finn, i'll meet you down at the betting shop" and with that Finn threw on his coat and made his way to the door slamming it shut behind him. Slowly stepping out of the door he reached for his pack of cigarettes when somebody bumped into him making him drop the packet. 

"Oh i'm so sorry" the young girl quickly bent down to pick up his cigarettes for him, she handed him the packets mumbling another apology "Thanks, but watch where you're fucking going next time got it" Finn pointed at her "It was your fault you stepped in my way" the young girl mumbled "What was that" Finn bellowed "It was your fault you stepped in my way" the girl shouted finally looking at Finn. Finally being able to get a good luck at the girl, she had the most beautiful eyes one blue and one brown with a cute button nose and a small plump lips,  well structured cheek bones framed by her ash brown hair. Finally snapping out of his little daydream about this young mysterious girl he shouted back at her "Don't fucking mess with me, so now fuck off" and with that he set off down Watery Lane down to the betting shop leaving the girl confused and annoyed.

Slamming open the doors to the betting shop "Fucking 'ell Finn you trying to take them bloody doors off hinges or what" Arthur exclaimed "Fuck off Arthur". "Who's pissed in your cereal this morning" "Nothing just had a running with some girl on the street" Finn mumbled. "Need me to go and scare her for you" Ada said as she came and sat down next to Finn, shaking his head he just dazed off into space only to be brought back to reality when Thomas came into the room demanding to know where John was. "He is too busy shagging Esme" Finn said making Polly and Michael spit out their drinks due to the shock. "Finn Shelby!"..

Ell POV   

"Nurse May you're needed in the clinic today it's fully packed and there's not enough staff to deal with everybody" Sister Jude said. Sighing Ell packed her little bag full of essentials just to be on the safe side, putting on her nursers pinafore over the top of her blue shirt and plain skirt, slipping on her flat shoes and making her way out of the door and slowly trudging towards the medical centre.  

<Skip the walk there because i am lazy and basic so i have no ideas on how to make it interesting> 

(Still Ell's POV)

Pushing open the door that i would later be seeing many people rush in and out of, i wondered into the medical centre heading to the reception to clock into work. After clocking in i was set up in my own little room waiting for my first patient. Not long after a woman a little taller than me with lovely dark hair wondered in i gave her a warm smile and told her my name. "Hello i'm nurse May but please call me Ell" she nodded and i asked her why she has come down the doctors today. "Well i think i am pregnant" the older woman replied, i proceeded to ask her questions about her period etc and how long ago it was from she last got hers. "Right Mrs.Shelby i will just have to do a few tests and then we'll be able to help you from there". 

<Skip the tests as well because i have no idea what to write> 

"Right Mrs.Shelby the results are back and it appears that you are pregnant 3 months along to be exact, oh and Mrs.Shelby you should probably stay away from any alcohol and drugs it isn't good for the baby" "Are you kidding, i can't go 9 months without any fucking drink" I just giggled at her "Another kid to add to other 500 hundred we have" She laughed with me. "Oh and Mrs.Shelby if you go out to the reception and tell them what's happening they'll assign you with a midwife" "Thank you Ell, hopefully i'll get you, you seem to be the only person in Small Heath who has welcomed me straight away and has not run the other direction" she laughed "Anyways see you later Ell" "See you later Mrs.Shelby".

Well this is the first chapter haha i can tell already it's terrible but don't worry hopefully it will go from bad to some what mediocre or hopefully good but that's pushing it anyways thank you to who ever is reading this - E :)
