Jun's POV

We were in the car and it was mostly silent because kiana decided to take out her earphones and listen to music instead. I didn't mind it at first but I got bored so I pulled her earphones out of her ears.

"Hey ! What are you doing ?"

"I got bored so I want to start a conversation."

"Okay Fine, What do you want to know ?" I paused for a sec, trying to think of what I want to know.

"Hmmm.... lemme see. Oh yeah ! You said that you have a work, where do you work at and why do you work ?"

"Well, I work at a cafe on _____ street and I have to work in order to provide for myself."

"Wait, you have to work in order to pay for all your bills and stuff ? No other relative helps you at all ? What about your aunts and uncles ?"

"They cut off all contact with me after my parents died, they said I was the reason why they died and that they'll never forgive me."

"How did your parents die ?"

"Umm... t-they..." shit shit shit why did I have to ask that question now ?

kiana's POV

"How did your parents die ?" Of course, of course he'd ask this question. I should've expected it.

"Umm... t-they..." I kept pausing, taking in deep breaths to make sure that I don't start bawling out my tears but instead, I dodged the question to stall. "Why do you want to know ?"

"Well, you said to Seulgi that she didn't know the full story and I wanna see if you're worth being bullied for."

"Wait, What the ? 'Worth being bullied for' ?"

"Oh, Umm, I mean, if it's right that they should be bullying you or not. Wait, that doesn't make the situation any better. Nevermind, I'm just curious on how they died, but if you don't want to tell me, it's fine."

"N-no, it's fine. I don't think I can just discuss this topic with someone I barely know."

"Oh, Okay." And that started a very tense and awkward silence that both Jun and I didn't want to be in. To be honest, my heart kept beating faster and faster every word he spoke to me because I never realized that I would be able to talk to him like this but when all the adrenaline died down, I popped back into reality and realized that this was all just a polite gesture. I sighed and just put my earphones back in my ears, listening to one of my favorite songs FXXK IT by BIGBANG.

-in jun's House-

I walked into such a huge house, a mansion. I was amazed to see the luxury that Jun got to live in. Jun walked in and instantly went upstairs and I didn't want to seem rude so I stayed downstairs to admire the place. Man, my house is nothing compared to this, this is the 'rich life.' I shook my head and realized that I need to call my boss.

"Yebeoseyo ?"

"Hello sir ? It's kiana, i just wanted to let you know that I won't be coming into work today. Something came up."

"Oh no, it's perfectly fine. Your friend Jun already called in for you but thank you for calling in for clarification." wait, jun called in ? I swear this boy.

"Oh, he did ? Well, yeah, something happened at school so I can't really do much right now."

"It's fine, I know what happened, I understand. Hope your head gets better soon."

"Okay thank you sir. Bye."

"Bye." I put down the phone and just stood in my place. I would sit down but I wasn't invited to sit down so I just stood there.
