This is just some ideas I had for stories but couldn't write them all into long stories, but I still love the ideas of them. So here you go!

Summary - Serena is a not a normal girl.... she isn't exactly, not anymore, she went on vacation 2 years ago and fell into a volcano, not an active one but one that was special, it was magical, when the moonlight shined in the water, it gave her the powers of a mermaid. She has legs when she's dry but when she touches water she grows her tail and it stays still she's dry. Serena hasn't told anyone her secret, because it could get her killed or put in a tank for show, taken away from her small family.

(Serena's P.O.V) I sit on my bed alone in my apartment as I listen to the sound of the rain pounding on my window.
I wish I could be out there...
Having the rain hit my skin with out my changing from my Human forum. I hear a knock at the front door, snapping me out of my head, I sigh and get up and walk out to the living room, to the front door. I open it to see my best friend and crush, Connor, I look at him soaked from the rain.
"Hiya Connor!" I say stepping back letting him out of the rain, I stay back trying to not get a drop on my skin.
"Hello Detective, A homicide was reported 43 minutes ago, Lieutenant Anderson was passed out from the alcohol, so I came to you instead." I shut the door, than step back.
"I-I'm sorry Connor, I-I can't..." I say rubbing the side of my arm, wishing I could join him.
"Why not?" He asks tilting his head.
"I-I just can't Connor... I-I-I don't f-feel well." I stutter trying to make up an excuse. I look down at my feet but than I feel his wet hand touch my skin, I look up at him with fear. I push him away and run back to my room and shut the door. I feel my skin change into scales as I fall onto the floor, I look behind me to see my big blueish greenish tail.

I hear a knock at my door.
"Serena? Are you alright?" His voice is panicked.
"Y-Yeah, I'm okay." I grunt trying to sit up. Than I hear the door open, I look up to see his face in shock.
"C-Connor, I-I can explain!" I say.
"W-What are y-you?!" He asks.
"I'm a mermaid... and since you touched me, while you were wet.." I explain.
"H-How long have you been like this for?" He asks getting closer to me.
"2 years now... it happened after I fell into the moon pool remember I was telling you about that?" I say, I pull my tail into my chest.
