james madison.

Two weeks later, he was still thinking about the hot stranger. My god, why would he ever think that was a good idea? He was never going to see him again.

James sat in the campus library, staring at a book he'd read twelve and a half times before, trying not to think about the stranger.

Suddenly, he was snapped from his thoughts. The mildly rowdy Schuyler sisters had sat down, grinning at him. "Hey, Maddy," Peggy greeted.

James blinked. "Oh. Hi."

"Here's the thing. Hamilton's having a party tomorrow night," Eliza, smiling gently, explained. "We think you should go."

"Yeah! Come with us, Maddy," Peggy coaxed, eyes wide. "Aaron can drive again if you want, or whatever."

"You decide," Angelica stated coolly. "We'll see you then. Or we won't. Peggy'll text you the dorm number." She grinned and the three stood, leaving James sitting in his thoughts.

Initially, he was thinking, "nah, not a party guy. Not going." But as he thought harder, he realized that could potentially see Hot Stranger at said party. And why give up the chance?

And so it was decided. James would make a horrible mistake that would ultimately lead to his demise.

In other words, attend yet another party. He texted Peggy a "yeah, i'll go," and stood, slipping from the library.

jefferson.

Another day, another party. Thomas initially decided to attend despite it being held by the worst person to grace this planet (namely, the one and only Alexander Hamilton). He had friends who'd be there. Presumably, he'd find another person to hook up with. All'd be well.

He was sitting in his dorm, Aaron out doing whatever he felt like doing while Thomas scrolled through his phone and ate a light snack of microwave macaroni.

Suddenly, his phone chimed.

from: freedom fries
3:07 pm, saturday 11.7.18
freedom fries: hey bro are you going to alex's party
macaroni man: yeah dude
macaroni man: i can't believe you're friends with him lmao
freedom fries: cmon man he's not bad
freedom fries: anyway there's this one girl i wanted to ask you about
macaroni man: aight, shoot
freedom fries: it's angelica
macaroni man: oooh what about her
freedom fries: idk, i mean, shit, if you're looking for someone to hook up with
macaroni man: ahaha
freedom fries: i'm just saying. she's your cherie
freedom fries: anyway gotta go, herc set fire to the microwave again
macaroni man: aight see ya

He shut off his phone, flopping backward dramatically onto his bed. Angelica was hot, he'd give him that. And yeah; if the girl did come up to him, Thomas was pretty dtf. Besides, Thomas was insanely picky about the people he hooked up with. Angelica might be the only one on his radar right now.

He chuckled. That was a lie. There were plenty of hot girls—and guys—just waiting for him tomorrow night.

He stood, tossing his phone onto his bed, and headed to the shower.
