After class marinette was just about to walk home when she heard adrien yelling to her "marinette wait up!" As he caught up with her they both walked to marinette's home "so um marinette I was wondering if you maybe" as adrien was about to ask marinette to their school dance marinette's mom interrupts Adrien looking for marinette "there you are sweetie, come quick we need your help with the bakery" "coming mom"said marinette as she looks back at adrien "so what did you wanna ask me adrien" "um you know it can wait it looks like your mom really needs you" as they both looked at window they both giggled as they saw her parents struggling with the bakery, giggles "yea I better go and help them" "well I guess I'll see you tomorrow then, at school" "yep, at school" as Adrien started to walk home he looked back at marinette as she was walking inside and couldn't help but smile. Back at adriens house he went into his room and started to think about how he can ask marinette to the school dance, he eventually asks Plagg for advice "plagg what should I do, I really wanna ask her to the dance" "if I were you kid I would just ask her before someone else does" "your right plagg tomorrow I'm going to ask marinette if she wants to go to the school dance, and I hope there will be no more distractions"

back at marinette's home: as marinette was getting ready for bed she couldn't help but think about what adrien was gonna ask her and started to get nervous "tiki what could his question be I just can't stop thinking about it, what if he was gonna ask me to the dance, or maybe not but what if he was" "marinette calm down you'll find out tomorrow right know you need some rest for school tomorrow" "your right tiki I just need some good night sleep, I'm sure I'll find out tomorrow, good night tiki" "good night marinette"  when Adrien was about to go to bed he to couldn't stop thinking about what marinette would say to him "what if she says no plagg what am I going to do" "kid you have got to calm down plus aren't you supposed to go to bed since you have school tomorrow" "your right plagg I'll just ask her tomorrow" "goodnight kid" "goodnight plagg"

As the morning came adrien and marinette started to get ready for school "okay tiki todays the day I'll find out what adrien was gonna ask me, oh I hope he wants to go to the dance with me" "well whatever it is marinette just don't stutter silly" as they both started laughing marinette's mom called out to marinette for breakfast "sweetie come down for breakfast" "on my way mom"  back at adriens house he was thinking about how he would ask marinette to the dance "okay plagg let's go I don't wanna be late to school" "you mean you don't wanna be late to ask marinette out hehe" "come on plagg let's just go" as they both started laughing. Back at school alya was waiting outside the door for marinette, when marinette finally arrived they both walked to class unable to see adrien marinette stared to think that adrien didn't want to go to the dance with her.
When marinette and alya sat down in their seats marinette asks nino about adrien "hey nino where's adrien" "he'll be here soon don't worry my bud always takes this long to come" as class starting adrien finally arrives and starts to ask nino when he should ask marinette to the dance "just ask her after school dude" "okay I'll ask her after school I just hope there will be no distractions" "don't worry bro I'll make sure nothing interrupts you with marinette" "thanks nino" during class marinette couldn't help but still wonder what was adriens question.

When class finally ended adrien ran to catch up to marinette "hey marinette I wanted to ask you something" "oh yea what is it" as marinette was getting super excited "I wanted to know if you'd like to go to the school dance with me
