The Dare

Chapter 2: The First Day

- Monday morning

Erin and Nicole were walking around the school holding hands. Everyone stared at them. Nicole started making weird noises that got Erin's attention.

"What's your problem," he asks.

"My legs hurt. We've been walking around the school forever," whines Nicole.

"So," says Erin annoyingly.

"Since you're my boyfriend you have to carry me," Nicole says giving Erin a mean look.

"No way," he says letting go of her hand.

"CARRY ME BOYFRIEND," she screams. She hops onto his shoulders and squeezes his neck.

"Get off of me you she demon, " yells Erin.

"Shut up! I'm your girl friend. You can't talk to me like that, " says Nicole.

"SHUT THE HELL UP! THAT DOESN'T MATTER, " yells Erin as he gasps for air.

"Hey, " says a familiar voice. It was Jenny. She was walking up to them. Tristen and Jake were by her side.

Nicole and Erin just stare in horror. They didn't want anyone to see how ridiculous they looked. Erin quickly drops Nicole onto the ground.

"What the fuck. I broke a nail," whines Nicole.

"I'm having a pool party tomorrow. It starts at 3pm. I was wondering if you two wanted to come," says Jenny.

"Of course. I love swimming, " says Erin excitedly.

"Me too. Wait, will there be snacks, " asks Nicole.

"Yeah, " says Jenny as she shows no expression to Nicole.

"It's gonna be junk food. Can anyone bring something healthy? Like celery sticks, " suggests Tristen.

"No! Shut up, " yells Jenny as she elbows his arm.

"Since you two are coming, you have to come as a couple, " says Jake.

"Shit, " says Nicole as she crosses her arms.

"What," asks Jake.

"I don't want Erin seeing me in my swim suit," complains Nicole.

"Yeah! I don't want to get sick," says Erin.

"SHUT UP ERIN! YOU'RE BEING SUCH A BITCH, " screams Nicole.

Then, a teacher walks by and gives Nicole a pink slip. It reads: Detention today at 2:15pm.

"Mr. Lern! What did I do," asks Nicole.

"You used bad language, " he says as he walks off.

Nicole rolls her eyes and walks off.

"Have fun in detention, " says Erin with a smile on his face.

Nicole continues walking and puts up the middle finger. Erin's smile becomes a frown.

"That's a form of saying I love you," says Jake.

Erin lets out a sigh and walks away from them.
