You thought this was a normal update but nah. this is a school project that i used my books characters for.

"Noah!" Father yelled for me to come. I ran down the stairs towards father's office. I knocked twice and waited for the usual response. "Come in." he said after a minute or so of me waiting. I walked in my head low, and waited for him to explain why he had called me down. "Look up at me son." Father calmly replied. I look up at him, he held his warm smiling face, he was petting his squirrel, Peapods. "I'm sending you to college, where you can get a bit of education of your choice and to work on your people skills. If your going to take my place as the head of this company you need to have social skills." His face held joy, he was proud of my work and dedication to my training. My paintings were getting close to the skill of fathers, he had cancelled his show to focus training me himself and to spend more time taking care of peapods. I smiled at my father, "I can really go to college? But what about my training? I can't stop now I'm getting so close to my goal!" Dad laughed at my words and smiled at me shaking his head. He put peapods back in his little habitat, and stood up and walked over to me. "Son, you will be going to college, not ending your career. I will send the basic colors like titanium white and phthalo blue, and of course the brushes and canvases. You will be able to paint when your there. I have gotten you a roommate that is okay with you painting as long as you open a window." He smiled and put his hand on my shoulder. He lifted my head up and smiled at me. "Go get packing son. You need to move into your dorm tomorrow." I smiled and walked out his office, I have a lot of packing to do.

I walk into my new little home for awhile, it already had one side decorated for the other man, I think it was Kayden. He seemed to be a sporty type of guy, he had basketball shoes and a basketball at the end of his bed. I looked at my side, a fresh canvas waiting to be painted. I started to unpack my little things first. I started by filling a little drawer with my paints. I set up my canvas in one corner and but the table next to it so I can easily access my paint's. I had an itch to paint something that I know peapods loved when dad painted it. I sketched the normal tree line and a nice big mountain. I wanted greenery, something a animal would enjoy, nice bright colors that really brighten the place up. I decided on bright wheat fields before the mountains and a little tree area on the right. I decided to start with the mountain, I grabbed a bit of green and mixed it with yellow. I started the trees after wiping my brush down with some ochre yellow and yellow and started making rows of wheat. There was a space in between rows giving it some volume and sense of space. After awhile I finished the painting and Kayden brought his friends over, Chris and Alex. I opened the window and I overheard their conversation about their one friend, raven. She was a female and so she never came over to the dorm. Father always told me as a child, those with the name of a animal are pretty nice.

The next day I woke up and headed to class. On my way back I stopped at a local cafe. It was a campus one so many people from my class were there. They all sat in groups, I realised why dad wanted me to go to college. I had no friends, no group, no sense of belonging. I walked over and say a girl that fit the description of the female named raven. "Hey, this is a long shot but is your name Raven?" I sat down in the chair cautiously waiting for a response form the girl. "Yeah, It is. Why do you ask?" I was twiddling my thumbs as she was saying her sentence, I was not used to this. "I need help, I need to find myself and a friend group." She burst out laughing. I started to freak out. Is this a bad question to ask? Was dad lying about how people with animal names are nice? She stopped laughing and smiled at me. That was good, smiling is good, right? "Look, I like you. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. I'll help you get into my friend group. I think they will like you." She wrote down her number on a napkin and gave it to me. I looked up at her and smiled. We went our separate ways until the next day.

It's been two weeks since I originally met raven, she really is kind. She helped me seem good in the eyes of her friends. She told them I made her laugh, and that apparently is hard to do because they instantly looked at me and said "Respect." She then went on and told them it was a pickup line. They laughed hysterically. They started to talk to me more and include me in discussions. It felt like I was slowly being accepted, even though it has taken some time I feel like I am. They invited me to parties and in classes to their groups. "Yo Noah," Alex yelled cutting me off on my train of thought. "Would you ever paint me something? Your paint work is amazing and I think you should be recognized more. Its like your Bob Ross's son. He laughed at the end of his sentence, it isn't that hard to believe, anyone could be dads son. I looked at him and snickered. "I am Bob Ross's son. That's why my technique is so close to his. He has trained me in the ways of wet on wet painting." Alex looked dazed. He did not expect me to actually be his son. I smiled and said "Yeah, I'll paint you something, What do you want done?" Alex snapped out of his dazed and said quickly, "Wait really! You will? I would love something like your dads northern light painting. I was born in Alaska so it would be nice to have something like that. I replied with "I can do that. Want to watch? It won't take longer than 30 mins."

Fun fact in the actual story noahs dad is NOT bob ross.
