"If today I woke up with you right beside me,

Like all of this was just some twisted dream,

I'd holder you closer than I ever did before,

And you'd never slip away,

And you'd never hear me say."

It was early morning when Luke woke up. He couldn't quite remember what happened, but it didn't matter because she was still here next to him. Nothing could ever compare to the feeling of her skin pressed against his.

He pulled her closer, careful not to wake her up just so he could look at her longer. He thought it was all just a dream, a sick, terrifying dream. Maybe it was, or maybe it wasn't. He would never know, and he liked that he didn't.

She would never leave, she would never hear him say the words that broke their hearts. Everything would be all right, and they would be more in love than ever before. Luke caressed her cheek with his thumb, smiling when she stirred and snuggled closer to him.

He wondered what would happen to them. He thought about when she would wake up. Would she leave him? Would she stay and tell him that she loves him? He hoped that they could stay there forever, but he knew that couldn't happen.

Carefully, he slipped out of the bed and walked over to his drawer to slip on a clean pair of boxers. He then tiptoed over to his desk that was covered with papers with lyrics and phrases. He sat down on the chair and grabbed a clean sheet of paper and a pen.

"The pictures that you sent me they're still living in my phone,

I'll admit I'd like to see them, I'll admit that I feel alone,

And all my friends keep asking why I'm not all around..."

He continued to write down lyrics that explained what had happened. Even if it was a dream, he still wrote, because he felt as if it were real. When he finished, he let out a sigh, and signed at the top, Amnesia.

He nodded in approval at the finished work, setting it aside for later when he would show the lads. Suddenly, a huge smile was plastered on his face when he heard the rustling of the blankets behind him. Luke turned to see Alexandra awake and looking over at him with a sleepy smile.

"I love you," she muttered, her eyes half-closed and face smushed in a pillow.

Luke walked over and got down on his knees in front of her. He took her hand in his large one, squeezing it gently. He stared into her soft brown eyes and sighed in content.

"I love you."

the end.
