Nek-Oko

I can't find a Neko Oko

         Sometimes it can be a little hard to get the spell right. Especially when you're a new witch. I really messed up today though so let me entertain you with my suffering.

6 hours earlier

           Me and my best friend Oko were sitting on the couch in the occult club (just pretend) reading, when out of nowhere he said "(Y-y/n) can you fix me?". I lightly blushed and looked up at him. "W-what about you?" I asked, surprised by the odd question. "My voice. It stutters too much. Maybe you can use your magic to fix it..." I found that a bit strange. He rarely stutters, only when he's talking to adults. "Okay, but I'm warning you, it might not work." His face lit up. "Thank you!"

After class, Oko walked me home as usual. Even though I was thinking about it the entire day, my heart jumped when I realized he was in my room.

 I got all the charms I would need. Graveyard soil, enchanted rosemary, snake blood, y'know the usual stuff.  I ground them all and mixed them together, humming a song while I did so,and drew a shape on the ground with the paste.

         I spoke in a weird language, and the symbol started to glow. When it died down, I opened my eyes to see Oko laying on the ground, eyes sparklier than usual, with two fluffy ears poking out of his equally fluffy hair. A tail was curled around his leg, and I was sitting still, staring with my jaw dropped. He sat up and cocked his head "Nya?" That made me sure his regular mind was unconscious. He then got distracted by a moth that somehow got in and slapped his face into the wall trying to catch it. I snorted. He blinked a few times and started clawing at his shirt. I undid a few of the top buttons so he could breath, before he started leaning towards my neck. A bit of the potion had splashed on my collar bone. He sniffed it a bit, then licked it off. I shivered. 

          I felt around for the door knob. He pushed me against the door, rubbing his cheek on my chest with an apologetic nya. I giggled and stroked his hair. He moved his head down to my lap and started purring, soon he fell asleep. I grabbed a pillow from the nearby couch and lay our heads on it, wrapping my arms around his waist with my face against his back, falling asleep to his soft purrs. I could always wait until morning to fix him.

~Extended ending~

          Dong Dong Dong. The bell at akademi high rung 12 times, signaling midnight. Back in (Y/N)'s room, Oko started to softly glow. He got brighter and brighter until the light was blinding. When it died down he was back to normal. (Y/N) was still curled around him, listening to his soft purrs.
