Tarezmina, a modern day genie, deals with the price of giving every day. She grants the wishes of everyone she's ever cared about, but never without paying the price in pain that comes with being a genie granting a wish. No one ever knew. That is, until she meets her first empath in the form of a roguish thief named Talen. Tarezmina realizes anew that while everyone wants something, the price is never the same.
