This would be for an angsty fic full of feels.
Person A is in a coma and doesn't know. They are trapped in a nightmare. They can hear Person B and their friends and/or family visiting them in the hospital, but can't wake up. They can hear when Person B is alone by their (person A's) bed, pleading and crying for Person A to wake up.
This story can also be Person B's struggle to have hope for Person A. To deal with their lover (or friend or sibling. Do want you want with this. It's flexible) being unable to wake up.
How will Person B cope? Can Person A wake up someday? Will Person A remember Person B? Will Person B move on? How did this happen?
