I won't be seeing Chibi Chibi most of the day like I use to when Hanji and Captain Levi signed her up for school in Wall Rose. 

"Chibi Chibi, hurry up so that you won't be late!" I called her as she ran to get her backpack as I helped her put it on and hand her the lunch bag.

"I'm ready to go!" She said rushing out as another thought came into my head.

"Wait! Chibi Chibi are you sure your alright? You know its been a few days since...." She sent me a big smile to reassure that she is fine.

"I'm fine daddy. I need to hurry up and go." Chibi Chibi said.

"Okay. Have a good day." I waved as she ran off to hurry to school.

"You really shouldn't be worrying so much about her." Armin said.

"I know. But, it's not the same from when she met Kousgi." I replied.

"She'll change. I know how and its in a good way." Mikasa added.

"Still...what's more interesting was when the explosion of Rod began. I held Kousagi in her reborn form that she felt really....warm and not so cold." I told them as they looked rather intriguing about this.

Narrator Pov

Dr. Shizumi was holding back Kousagi as he smiled at the young sight of her.

"Oh Kousagi, I can't believe this has actually happen and now you can start over and live a normal life." Dr. Shizumi said as a curious Kousagi stared at him and then footsteps were heading they're way.

"Dr. Shizumi ?" They heard a formal tone coming from Levi Ackerman himself.

"Captain Levi! What a surprise; what brings you here on this fine afternoon?" Dr. Shizumi asked.

"I'm here to take Kousagi with me." Levi replied. The smile of Dr. Shizumi's drop as Kousagi reached her arms out for him as they stood there in silence.

"Why is that?" He asked.

"Because if you continue to let Kousagi stay with you then it may happen again and you don't know it just yet. With all do respect that Kousagi has a second chance to start over a new life and with you...it may not be so easy for her to go through that again." Levi explained as Dr. Shizumi thought about this entirely as he nonchalantly stare at Levi dead in the eyes.

"Do you promise to keep her safe until she is happy?" He asked in a unsteady tone.

"I wouldn't say a promise would be a forever answer. But, I will do my best at keeping her safe away from what ever reason we have in the future." Levi replied.

"Hm, I trust you. Take care now and I hope my daughter will have a bright future ahead." He said as Levi nodded before turning his heel to carry the young baby in his arms as she looked back to see her father waving goodbye to her.

'Kousagi will have a bright future. I will count on my life and her's for when the time comes for freedom to arise.' Levi vowed in his thoughts.
