His eyes stare intently as you wash dishes. You become self conscious knowing all eyes are on you. Mr. Jung and Mr. Kim have been mumbling to each other ever since your training begun.

Business has been incredibly slow. Mr. Jung has explained a lot of the labor. Though most of the work will only make sense to you when you've put those words into practice.

Either way, Jimin and Taehyung have managed to keep you productive with busy work. You've vigorously wiped the counters three times throughout the course of the morning.

"You're doing great," Jimin whispers.

"Thanks!" You whisper back.

Admittedly, your performance has been well. Neither men has confirmed or denied this claim, yet you've worked hard all day and payed lots of attention when being taught a new assignment.

Mr. Kim finally walks in front of you to speak. He says, "Thank you so much for coming today. I truly feel you'd make a great addition to our bakery. I cannot say you are an official employee of our building. Please keep in touch for any news about your position." Mr. Kim smiles after speaking. He then proceeds to walk in the kitchen where most of the staff is.

"You've done really well today. I think Mr. Kim will take you under great consideration," Mr. Jung says before leaving to the kitchen as well.

Mr. Jung and Mr. Kim seem to think highly of you. You choose not to get your hopes up in case of Mr. Kim reconsiders his decision. Either way, you are proud of yourself for working hard and being close to reaching a new opportunity.

"You fit in perfectly!" Jimin nudges your shoulder.

"I hope so," you say.

"Listen, I don't want to get your hopes up, but I really think Mr. Kim will let you stay."

"I really appreciate you, Jimin. None of this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you."

The two of you embrace each other into a hug. You could not thank your friend enough for all of the help he's been.

"Alright, I'm going to head on to the back to see if I can get any details on the day you start working," Jimin winks.

"Thank you so much again, Jimin," you thank him once again before he heads out.

So far, you've enjoyed working at Kim's Bakery. Your coworkers are kind, your employers are encouraging, the customers were pleasant to serve. Having two jobs would help you in many ways. You would be able to pay off your bills and debt. You could only hope Mr. Kim allows you to stay.

A tall man with pale skin and black hair strolls into the bakery. His expression seems to be confused as he stares at you. You drop your rag and walk over to the register. You smile at his direction and greet him as polite as possible, "Good afternoon!"

His skeptical look quickly softens into a warm smile. "Good evening. You must be new," his deep voice resonates in your head. Although this man holds a stunning complexion, you falter at no moment and continue to put your training into practice. This could be your chance to prove yourself, and Mr. Kim you are more than capable for this position.

"That's right! You must be a regular then," you respond.

"You could say that," he says. He eyes the building as if searching for something. Weirdly enough not at the pastries.

"What can I interest you in?" You finally ask.

"Pardon?"

"Would you like a drink or something sweet?"
