The next day, Shadow has been thinking about you ever since he lay his eyes on you. He was dreaming about you as well.
He may have found the perfect Queen of his own. He never felt this way before. Suddenly, Sonic came into the room and saw Shadow staring at a picture of you in a loving way.
"Shadow? Are you ok?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah. I'm ok." Shadow sighs dreamily. Sonic gasps.
"Sire...are you....In love?" Shadow widen his eyes.
"No!....I mean....yes. I am." Shadow blushed. Sonic had a huge grin as he jumped up and down.
"We did it! We found you a new Queen!"
"She's not a Queen yet and she's not my Queen yet. I decided to go visit her again today. We will bake her a cake as a surprise present."
"Great idea your highness." Shadow glared at him.
"Well? What are you standing there for?! Get to work on that cake!"
"Yes sir!" Sonic quickly ran towards the kitchen. Shadow smiled as he looked at your picture again. 30 minutes later, Sonic came back with the cake.
"Here you go sire!" Shadow looked at it and glared at him.
"S-Something wrong Shadow?"
"What do you think?" "U-Uh..."
"That's a speed cake. I need a nature cake!"
"Y-You didn't even tell me what kind of cake I should make."
"Well I'm telling you now so go fix it." Sonic quickly ran off. Later, Shadow and Sonic arrived at your castle.
"Nice place." Sonic said.
"You've been here before idiot."
"Well I haven't explored this place yet." Shadow rolled his eyes and got out of the carriage. When Shadow saw you, he smiled and walked towards you with Sonic behind him.
"Hello again princess." You looked up and smiled.
"Hello your highness."
"I have a little gift for you to show our appreciation." Shadow snapped his fingers, signaling Sonic to bring in the cake. When you saw it, you gasps in surprised.
"We made you a nature cake for you. I hope you like it."
"I love it! Thank you so much."
"You're welcome." Shadow blushed a little.
"May I have a taste test?"
"Of course."
*Whispers to Sonic* If she hates it, you're dead." Sonic gulped in fear. Y/N asked her maids to set up the table.
When they did, You, Shadow and Sonic sat down. You grabbed your fork and took a bite. You widen your eyes.
"This tastes amazing!"
"Really?" Shadow asked.
"Yeah. You must have amazing chef's at your kingdom."
"Yes I do." Sonic sighs in relief. You three continued to eat the cake. When you all finished, Shadow looked at you.
"Can you give us a tour in your village?"
"Of course! Follow me." You and your new friends begin to walk. Shadow looked around and saw a lot of flower gardens.
"Everything is almost green here." Sonic said.
"I know right? We are like the true keepers of Mother Nature." Y/N said.
Shadow saw her subjects growing flowers, fruits and vegetables. Shadow saw a little hedgehog boy eating an apple with a smile.
"Around here, we send some fruits and vegetables to other Kingdoms since they don't have the same powers we do. We always make sure that they eat at least something healthy." Y/N said.
"You are very generous." Shadow said.
"Thanks."
"And very beautiful." Y/N blushed. Sonic looked around and was amazed.
"This place is amazing! Maybe someday you should visit our Kingdom." Sonic said.
"I might. What's it like there?"
"Everyone is really fast. And we just do normal stuff and we also have the power of the wind but Shadow is the only one who has Chaos powers and wind powers as well."
"That's amazing!" Shadow blushed.
*Thinks* "She's so cute." After the tour, Shadow and Sonic had to return home. Shadow climbed into bed and began to dream about you.
