Everything Wrong With TWILIGHT Fanfictions

* The Other Cullen

The next cliche plot for Twilight fanfics is the Other Cullen in which there is an additional member to the Olympic Coven and these make up approximately 8.3K fanfics altogether on Wattpad.

So there are many possibilities to the origin of this Other Cullen which are as follows:

1. She is Edward's twin sister or younger sister.

2. She is Jasper's biological sister.

3. She is Renesmee's twin sister.

4. She was turned by Carlisle to save her from death just like the other Cullens and is not biologically related to them.

So apparently, I have to do a lot of explaining in this chapter since there are four different perspectives on which this chapter will focus.

Anyhow, let's get started with the similar plot facts and then we will go on to the OC's personality and the ways it affects the other characters.

Plot Facts: 

We'll start with the Edward's sister plots.

1. Edward's sister also had Spanish Influenza like him and their mother pleaded to Carlisle to do anything in his power in order to save her kids. So Carlisle turns both of them into Vampires.

2. Remember, Edward wasn't so good at coping with all the blood lust and restricting oneself to animals only in the earlier years of his transformation? Well, his sister is the complete opposite.

3. She basically lives with them and nothing out of the ordinary happens until Bella comes into the picture.

4. Or in some cases, Edward's sister turns out to be Jasper's mate.

[Why do people like Jasper so much? I mean yeah as a character he has enough depth and is quite the type of characters I personally like but still, there are many other options to choose from for being the OC's love interest].

5.In the remaining cases, Edward's sister (let's suppose she's named Edith) does not initially like Bella but since her brother is happy she will also eventually overcome her differences.

6. I don't even know what to write anymore because this plot is just a bit too restricted. Nothing out of the ordinary happens, story follows quite a similar plotline as that of the original and in the end, Edith finds true love.

Now let's get over to the Jasper's sister plots.

1. Jasper's sister is either his twin or his younger sister because in the world of fanfiction, elder sisters hardly stand a chance.

2. She is either the golden child of the family being an only daughter to so many brothers or is the disgrace.

3. Either way Jasper and his sister (suppose her name is Jasmine) are quite close and share a very special bond.

4. When Jasper goes for war, either she joins in with him or she gets recruited under a male apparel later on.

5. In some cases, she doesn't go in the army but stays with her family until a group of Vampires come to their area and kill everybody but for some reason they spare her and simply turn her into a Vampire.

[Bugs me why a group of savage bloodsucking monsters would take pity on one human girl but destroy the entire village's population].

6. Also, there are some fanfics where Jasmine joins the army with Jasper, disappears when he does, lives in Maria's coven, and escapes along with him to later on join the Cullens.

7. In other stories, Jasper lives with the Olympic Coven for years without any knowledge of his sister's existence as a vampire and only finds her out when there are mysterious humans killings taking place in Forks. But it turns out that she wasn't the cause of the killings at all and is somehow a vegetarian.
