Kim Mina
~•~

Mina;

It's the last day of my two-month break, before a new year of school starts tomorrow. Other people would probably meet friends and catch-up with them, but here I am wide awake on my bed. Wrapped up in my blanket burrito, I stay half-conscious with thoughts dominating my mind.

If anything, I dread to go to school.

The school I go to, focuses more on student's drama with relationships and other situations requiring extreme gossip.

I mean, we're still learning about the essential subjects to avoid becoming a dumbass civilian. So I might as well comply and resist all their shit, to mainly avoid getting kicked out of my educated house-hold.

I live in an ordinary house with a financially stable normal family, that's nothing too special. I have a weird-ass family, who can't ever let me sleep in peace at night. My parent don't give a shit about what I do, with the exception of getting grades that satisfy them.

I also have a younger brother, that somehow can't stop annoying me all day.

But I do love them.

Even though school is a stupid way of educating young people, it's mandatory for those who want to survive reality in the future.

Important people other than family in my life, consist of the ultimate trio - my three stupid and amazing friends.

Seojin. An extremely straight-forward girl, that shocks me consistently. She's older than me by about two weeks, so I respect her out of the trio. We've known each other for two years and even think similarly now. We're actually both super chill, to the point we stick with each other everyday, all day.

Maya. Someone who may look intimidating, but is actually a softie inside. I was actually scared by her on our first encounters, but turns out she was too innocent. We actually knew each other from my previous school, but we weren't close then. After I moved to my current school, it surprised me when she applied too and we became really close friends since.

Suha. The first person I met and got close with, since I moved to my current school, I honestly don't even remember our first encounter. She understands me really well, to the point she knows exactly what I am thinking. She's an optimistic person who smiles all the time, and somehow is able to stay in a good mood everyday. Too bright, too annoying.

My friends are the only people that helps me get through every single day, and without them I won't be able to survive school. I'm super grateful for them.

I also have other friends, but we're not that close. So, I stick with the trio and basically ditch everyone else.

At school, everyone is afraid of getting to know me because my quiet personality. I rarely smile in front of people I'm not familiar with, so instead I wear my usual bitch face.

"GOOD MORNING, DUMBASS!" My brother, Minjoo, sings loudly as he barges into my room in attempts of waking me up.

This is the consequence of not getting your own alarm clock.

I groan as I prop my head up towards my bedroom door, to be met with his smiling face.

"I'm older than you, little shit. Treat me with some respect." I say in a stern voice, trying to scold some sense into him.
