Chapter 4

RUNNING.

The only thing that I keep on doing these past few days.I don't know...I guess it's because I feel like everything is just behind me when I do.Don't I get tired? I do but I don't have any other choice.

"Hello?"I asked catching my breath.

"Diana?"

I felt my body stiffened."W-who is this?"

"Ah..it is you.Where are you dear?You do know that you can't hide right?"The man said.

"Who is this?!?!"I shouted.

"*chuckle* No need to be so excited dear.You will land in my hands anyway or...you can just die...like your parents did."

I didn't answer.I felt the blood drain from my face.

"Diana,Diana,Diana....ah...what a lovely name you have.The roman Goddess of hunting,moon and forest.Artemis in greek.But it looks like you are the one being hunted down."He chuckled once again.

"I-I--"

"Diana?" I spun around only to be greeted by a worried tyler.

I stepped back.

"You are with a man?!?"The guy on the line shouted.

"I-"

"Diana who are you talking to?"Tyler frowned.

"Nevermind that dear.Tell me where you are and the guy shall leave you at once.Or you can just meet your family in heaven."

"Diana."Tyler called.

"Diana dear just remember.you are mine and mine alone.The fates have decided that.Until then my dear."and with that the caller ended the call.

I didn't realize that my body was trembling until Tyler was beside me,calming me down.I felt like I just fell from the lake in a winter night.

"Shh...It's okay sweetheart.I'm here.I'm here."Tyler said in a calming voice.I don't know how but tears suddenly started to fall.Being with tyler though calmed my nerves down a little.

"I-I have to go." I said sobbing."I-He-He's g-going to k-kill me. He's going to kill everybody."

"No one's leaving and no one is going to be killed. Not when I'm around .I'm here I won't let anything happen to you."Tyler said running circles in my back.

"B-but-b-but You're just like the rest of them...y-you're no differrent."I said sobbing in his chest.

"Like who?"He asked.I didn't answer instead I continued sobbing."Diana,I'm your mate.I won't let anything happen to you."

"I don't believe--"I was suddenly cut off when he pulled me in for a rough kiss.My mind was a mess but my body knows what it wants without a second thought I began kissing him back.

He pulled away and looked me in the eye. "I am your mate diana.I'm not just somebody else.I won't leave you.I won't let anything happen to you.I won't just stand by and watch you being tormented."

I ran out of words as I search for anything,a sign that says he must be joking or he doesn't mean what he said, but nothing.I only found a strong and reliable person beneath.

I sighed and found my self relying on him."I just wish you know what you're getting in to."I said to myself more than to him.

"So I'll see you tomorrow at school?"He asked.

"I still have a week before coming to school.I have a job to go to."I smiled.

"You still haven't drop that?"He frowned.
