Chapter 4:Sam's POV:
Tonight is Valentines and I want to make it special for Paige. I am going to take her to a nice restaurant then to the peer. It's 6 so I need to start getting ready. I get on nice pants and a button up shirt.
After I get ready I call Paige. I made it look like I didn't want to do anything tonight.
"Hey Paige."
"Hi" she sounds really sad and now I feel bad.
"What's up?"
"Nothing... It's Valentines day. I should be with you but you forgot... You always forget these things. Bye, Sam." Then she hangs up.
I feel really bad. I text her immediately: Babe, I didn't forget. I just didn't want to ruin the surprise. Be ready in an hour and wear something nice. :). She texts back after about 5 minutes and says: Ok :). Then I start smiling and I can't stop.
I borrow my moms car because I am cool like that...and I drive to Paige's house. She lives with Celina...a.k.a. Ricky's girlfriend. It gets kind of awkward when are both over there because it's best friends and best friends.... I met Paige first and introduced Ricky to Celina and they hit it off immediately.
I knock on the door and a crying Celina answers. "What's wrong Celina?" Paige enters the room and says, "Ricky yelled at her.....again." I hug Celina the moment Paige finishes talking. "It's ok Celina." She just shakes her head and walks to her room. "Paige?" "Yes?" "You can stay home with Celina tonight and we can do our date tomorrow. She really needs you right now and I don't mind. She nods. I walk over to her and hug. I give her a peck on the lips and say, "I love you." "I love you too Sam."
Then she smiles and walks to Celina's room. I walk out and text Ricky: You screwed up....again. He texts back immediately: Immsndjjfjh. Great he is drunk. Another fun night of Rina fighting.
Next I call Connor. He picks up laughing....a laugh I haven't heard in awhile. "Hey Sam!" "Connor?" "Yeah?" "Sorry I just haven't heard your laugh in awhile I almost forgot what it sounded like." With that he laughs again. Now I am laughing...then I get back on track. "Ricky.." He cuts me off, "Yeah I know. I am busy. Bye." Then he hangs up. How rude?
Woah....woah...wait...Connor? Busy? I crack up. Then I ask myself......Is Connor avoiding me? What did I do this time?
