Thursday 15th November
7am

I heard my alarm go off.
I searched for my phone to turn it off, but ended up falling out of my bed.

"Ouchh my bum," I mumbled.

Today was Thursday, which meant that I had to go to "KAFFE," where I worked as a barista, to work full day (from 8am-4pm).
Despite my little sister visiting me this whole week, I still had to take my classes and go to work so we spent time together after I got home from school or work. She would visit me at "KAFFE" from time to time to chat and get something to drink or eat.

I stood up, still sleepy and went to the bathroom to wash my face and get my hair done.

When I was finished I got dressed and went downstairs to get something to eat.

I finished a quick breakfast, which was a sandwich and a cup of coffee. I left my sister a note on the fridge saying that I went to work, I'll be back at 4pm and some instructions where she can find something to eat.

I got out of my apartment, locked the door and started walking to work.

When I arrived to "KAFFE", I set everything up and opened the coffee shop.

1:45pm

I heard the doorbell ring and saw three men walk into the coffee shop. All three of them wore masks and hoodies.

One of them wore a white cap, a white mask and a blue hoodie. He also had a pair of black sunglasses. The second one wore a red cap, black mask and a yellow hoodie. He had silver earrings which looked amazing on him. The third one wore a white cap and mask with a light brown hoodie. He also had a pair of sunglasses on, but removed these as he stepped into the shop.

As they came closer, I heard them speak in Korean:

Person 1: "We have only half an hour, so we gotta hurry to get back to the hotel in time."

Person 3: "Yeah yeah, okay, hyung. I'll hurry. But first tell me what do you want to order?"

Person 1: "One large latte."

Person 3: "Okay, and how about you, Mochi?"

Person 2: "I'll have one large cocoa frappe."

Person 3: "Okay, I'll order our drinks then."

The one with a white cap and mask walked over to the counter.
He spoke in broken English:

"Hello...emmm..one...umm..ermm..."

I saw that he was struggling with English so I decided to help him and said in Korean:

"It's okay, you can talk in Korean, I can speak Korean," I smiled kindly.

His eyes widened, he stared at me blankly for a second, then smiled and said:

*In korean*

"Ohh thank god, I'm not very good at English."

"It's totally okay. So what can I get you?"

"One large latte and two large cocoa frappes please."

"Okay, is that all?"

"Yes."

"Okay, then your total will be 130.50 kr."

He started to search for the right amount of money and then handed it to me.

"Thank you. And your drinks will be ready in 5 minutes," I smiled at him again. What was going on with me?? Usually I don't smile at every customer like that. . .

"Thank you so much," he said and smiled back. Then he went back to his friends, who were sitting at a table now.

I started to make the drinks. When I was finished, I walked over to their table and served their drinks. They thanked me and the one who ordered before stared at me the whole time and then smiled at me AgAiN.
I couldn't help but blush a little. I walked back to the counter and cursed under my breath: "Why tf did you blush, Y/N??? What is happening?? Stop it and focus!" I covered my face with my hands and took a deep breath.

Soon enough more customers came.

After I had served the clients, I began to clean up some dishes.

Soon enough the three Korean boys started to leave, thanked me politely and said goodbye. As they were walking out, the one who ordered their drinks turned back and looked at me for a second, then he smirked and walked away.

What was that supposed to be?? I admit he was good looking. . . I was so confused, but made peace with the thought that I'll probably never meet him again. So I tried to focus on my work again.
