(Author's note: The video is just something I listened to while writing this oneshot, feel free to listen to it while you read~ You all can also probably tell how much I love the word Everlasting XD)

A neat pile of scrolls stacked on a dark blue table, the sound of brush strokes colliding with the brown parchment, creating an intricate yet elegant-looking characters. A soft sigh exited the beautiful man's lips.

He looked up from his work before he stood up to take more scrolls from a nearby shelf. Carefully, he pulled out two scrolls and replaced it with another two.

The sound of harsh whispers reached his ears.

He turned his head towards the door, stared and waited until the soft voice of Lan SiZhui called to him.

"Ze-WuJun, we apologize for disturbing you. However, Han-GuangJun requested for your immediate presence."

Lan Xichen didn't reply yet. He placed down the scrolls and cleaned his table, collecting the papers and brushes, placed them on another table. With a quick hand motion, he made his robes more presentable.

He slid the doors open and smiled at the two disciples who bowed (I literally have no idea what the correct term is called, I'm so sorry XD) at him.

"Han-GuangJun is waiting for your presence at the entrance of Cloud Recess." Lan JingYi informed.

"Thank you, I'll be on my way then." Lan Xichen replied with an angelic smile, he turned around and walked away. His white robes fluttered gracefully in each step he took.

"Ah! Ze-WuJun!"

Lan Xichen stopped and looked back at the two disciples, and with the brightest smile Lan JingYi and Lan SiZhui catched up to him and both said.

"Happy Birthday, Ze-WuJun!"

Jiang Cheng paced back and forth inside the main hall, the current atmosphere in Lotus Pier was sunny. Sun rays entered the hall and shone on the colour purple reflecting a stronger glow.

It was a peaceful sight.

A contrast to how he was actually feeling, at the moment.

Jiang Cheng couldn't bear anymore of this and he took off to find Wei WuXian.

The man clad in red and black was found talking to a few fishermen, he looked completely happy and relaxed which somehow irritated the Sect Leader. Wei Wuxian turned around and lightened up at Jiang Cheng's arrival.

"Jiang Cheng! You finally came out of that dark hall, come and enjoy the sun with me!" Wei Wuxian invited with the brightest smile that could compete with the brightness of the sun itself.

Jiang Cheng ignored the question.

"Enjoy?! We have to finish this preparation! Fast!" Jiang Cheng exclaimed.

"Hey~ Calm down Jiang Cheng, you're nervous. Everything will go as planned just leave this to me and Lan Zhan! All you have to do is just be you!" Wei Wuxian assured him and rubbed his back.

"Be me? Me? That'll ruin the whole thing," Jiang Cheng sighed, "maybe it's best if I don't join, I have other work to do anyway."

Wei Wuxian's smile turned into a frown, he grabbed Jiang Cheng's shoulders and forced him to look at him in the eyes.

"Listen up. You are the main character today and you've been with Lan Xichen for a while. He loves you and accepts you for who you are, so why are you still nervous? Answer me. Why are you like this? Why are you afraid as if he'll never see you again?!" Wei Wuxian yelled.
