Chapter 1

Hi I'm Lydia Anne Richards and I live in North Carolina but I'm not originally from here I moved here from Brooklyn and NO I DONT HAVE AN ACCENT kids in highschool used to bully me for not being a local but so what I don't care and just so I don't feel left out I have my bestfriend well more like my sister her name is Nichole Stark and she's like my twin we are the same size we supposedly speak the same and we talk at the same time. I love to sing and so does Nichole we actually had a job once to sing at this fancy restraunt we wore those long dresses that reached your ankle and we even sat on the piano like the ladies in the twenties that was one of the best paydays in my life then we had to quit due to the fact that we are leaving town for University. Lots of people comment about my eyes yes theyre brown but the rim around my pupil is silver and Nichole's eyes are green with brown in the middle but the rim around her pupil is silver as well they're so pretty. I'm 5 feet tall exactly at the age of 19 and Nichole is 5'3 at the age of 19. People say that we have perfect bodies but I'm not sure what a perfect body even is? so that's who I am and my best friend and now you'll see our story from the beginning.

Lydia wake up! Nichole was banging on my window I looked at my alarm click only to remember it is in one of the card board boxes stacked next to my door.yes I'm moving to a tiny dorm room on campus with the annoying girl outside my window who I love to death. I stood up and opened the front door quietly not to wake my mother up because it was four in the morning she walked in and we talked for a little excited and anxious about our moving day... Which is today we are still staying in the state of North Carolina but we are going up state for the university. after a while I heard my moms alarm go off and soon I heard the shower turn on Nichole and I both knew it would be water works today so to lighten the mood we made eggs and bacon and hand made orange juice well I did because I'm the cook Nichole would burn the house down. my mom came out and we ate then Nichole spoke up "I'm gonna leave for a little to spend time with my grandparents before we leave so see you at three Lyd" which is the nick name she gave me "okay see you soon Nikki bye!" she left and that's when I got up and started cleaning the dishes when I was done I saw my mom about to cry so I ran to her and hugged her "don't worry mom I'll be here for Christmas and thanksgiving and Halloween and even saint Patricks day to annoy you as much as I can" she laughed a little and wiped her eyes and then I heard knocking on the door so I went to answer it and there he is standing On front of me with that same smirk "ZACK!" I screamed and he hugged me lifting me off my feet and spinning me around "I wanna spend time with my little sister before she leaves to college!" he said I smiled and he gave my mom a hug he lives about twenty minutes away from my university so I don't see why he drove down here "I took a cab here so I can drive your shiny beautiful car to your campus" I rolled my eyes "you're that obsessed with my car?" he nodded my car is a baby blue almost aqua colored convertible jeep and I love it with all my heart Nichole doesn't have a car yet so we rented a U Haul for her and now I can ride with her since Zack is taking my car "how about some ice cream at Rita's before we go?" My mom nodded and we all got in my car and drove to the best ice cream place on Earth we got down and I saw David "hey Lydia the usual?" I smiled "hey David you know it!" David was my friend from highschool and we used to come every day after school for his shift and I would order the same thing every time a cotton candy Italian ice cup he handed it to me and I sat and ate at the bench Zack sat next to me with my mom and I sighed "I'm sure gonna miss coming here" my mom sighed "I'm sure gonna miss you" I put my head on Zacks shoulder "you may be two years older than me but if you need anything I'm closer than ever to you for now on so you can ask me for help okay?" he nodded and kissed the top of my head I looked at my phone to see it was 2:30 "oh crap we have to get ready!" we all rushed to the car I was still in my pajamas so i put on my white tank top that says 'you can't sit with us' my high waisted shorts and a floral print short sleeved loose jacket with my brown roman sandals. and I put my hair in a pony tail and did my Normal make up nothing special just concealer foundation mascara eyeliner and lip balm. and then I heard a nock on the door it was Nichole with the U Haul she wore a white crop top that says 'I hate Mondays' her high waisted shorts and a grey short sleeved loose jacket and she wore Grey slip on sandals and her make up was similar to mine but she didn't wear eyeliner. we got in and I gave my mom one last long hug and a kiss on the cheek, I wiped her tears and I whispered "I love you mom and I'll come this weekend to see you okay?" she nodded and with that we all left after about three hours we made it and we started unpacking things and finally the room looked perfect it was light grey with white wood shelves a stick on roof chandelier a black fuzzy rug in the middle of two black boarded beds with a personal night stand next to them And a white lamp on each nightstand between the nightstand underneath the window is two teal box chairs that have lids to hold things like my books and above my head board is a canvas with a perfesional picture of the phases of the moons and above Nikki's bed is a long mirror with a white vintage border after all the decorating We were exhausted we then say on the rug criss cross apple sauce facing each other and started talking " today is Thursday and tomorrow is our last week day before classes start on Monday but Saturday and Sunday we spend at our old house because we promised to visit so on Friday.. tomorrow we go to the movies to relax us got it?" I nodded and sighed "in stressed and tired nikki so I'm gonna shower and sleep because it's already 3:00 AM" she yawned "I'll shower after you then" I grabbed my PJs from my drawer and grabbed the razor the shampoo and conditioner along with my body gel and scrubs I walked in put the extra thing like the toothpaste some towels and some toilet paper under the sink and I started the shower and did what I usually do in the shower shave wash my hair ect. And then I got out I wrapped myself in a towel and then got dressed I picked up my mess and then went to sleep
