In A Week's Time

I've spent an entire restless week with these guys in the Avengers Tower. At first it was okay we've all been in one central location before but this is different, this is actually living with them. Having Tony right down the hall and Natasha just an elevator ride away. I am serious about Tony being right down the hall. After leaving the bounce house room Tony showed us to our rooms. "I expect most people to just come and go as they please but I have five floors of rooms just on case. Two for the ladies and two for the men." He said five so why did he only mention four? I think to myself as he head back towards the elevators.

"What's the fifth floor for?" Clint questions. Tony smiles as he presses the down button for the elevator.

"Those in between." I don't exactly know what he means and I don't ask. Natasha smirks like she knows something we don't and Clint just rolls his eyes and sighs. Maybe there are more prospective people out there for our team that I don't know about. Those in between. I wonder what Tony is talking about. "Girls wing first!" Tony says pressing a button on the elevator as we step through.

"Tony." Pepper says giving him this look.

"What? It's before the guys level." She sighs.

"Yes if we were going up it would be. You're completely bypassing your levels." She points at the first two button above the one Tony pressed.

"My tower I want to show it off." Tony grumbled. Pepper sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Why are the men and women separated?" Maria asks.

"The boys have communal showers unless you want that." Maria scrunched up her face in disgust.

"I'm kidding." Tony whispers to us loudly. "They have the communal showers and I've installed cameras." Pepper hits him across his chest. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" He protests when Maria and Natasha glare at him. "No I'm not." He whispers back to us again. Bruce and I can't can't help but smile and Clint is having a hard time trying not to laugh.

"Nobody has communal showers. It's a private room with private bathrooms." Pepper clears up. Tony sulks.

"You ruin all the fun." He mumbles as the doors open up revealing a large sitting room and complete kitchen.

"I wanted to make everything pink but Pepper went behind my back," he says that part loudly "And put up black, white and gray." He says making a disgusted face.

"Pink wouldn't have been a good color." Pepper argues.

"Sure it would have! That's your favorite color right Natasha?" She narrows her eyes at Tony. "She made everything look sheik and classy. I was going for girly." Tony continues a bit bitterly. "Why is there a kitchen? Don't you have people here to make food?" Maria interjects as we walk past it down a hallway.

"Don't girls like baking? Or cooking? I don't know. It was to fill in space. The guys have a bar." Natasha sticks out her arm and stops Tony in his tracks.

"You built the women kitchens and put bars in yours?" She demands ferociously.

"No. There's a kitchen on one floor and a bar on the other." Natasha narrows her eyes at him unsure if she should believe him or not. She eventually drops her arm and we continue forward. "Maria you can have this room." He says opening a door and revealing a bedroom styled after one you might see in S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters. There's even the emblem for it painted over the bed.

"Oh wow." She breathes out stepping inside. While the bedrooms back at S.H.I.E.L.D had been generic and bland. The same room over and over again Tony had taken the room and put a little spin on it adding fancy dressers and decorative tables and lamps.
