For as many Pokemon as there are in the franchise, there are an awful lot of moves to choose from. Now we have the favorites like Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Psychic, Thunderbolt, etc. And then there is Splash. Uh, yeah...Anyway, to me, there is one move that shakes up above every other move...literally. Yep, I'm talking about...

A 100 base power, 100% accurate, physical Ground type move that hits all adjacent foes AND digging Pokemon?! Yes please! The only drawbacks are that it hits the allies and that, like all Ground type moves, it can't hit Flying type and levitating Pokemon. I sometimes scratch my head at the fact that Garchomp, a physical Ground type attacker, can't learn Earthquake normally. Oh well, at least there's TM26 for that.
