Chapter 5

The Doctor calls Bellamy three days after the car crash with a verdict on his Mother. Bellamy's finger hovers over the green answer button unable to move until Clarke rests her hand on his stiff shoulder. "You got this," she whispers. Bellamy nods and brings his finger down on the phone answering it. Many seconds go by as everyone sits frozen waiting for Bellamy's face to show any reaction to what's being said on the other side of the phone.

"Ok, I will, thank you." Says Bellamy, his face still unresponsive. He sets down the phone to see eager eyes set on him. Raven asks the brave question no one else dares to.

"Is she going to be ok?"

Bellamys face slowly rises into a grin "Yes." Octavia breath shaky sigh of relief and hugs her brother as everyone cheers and wraps their arms around the Blakes. After four days worth of stress and anxiety the 100-pound weight dragging the siblings down is finally lifted.

"Ok, so now that it is confirmed that your mother is going to be ok, I have a much-needed question. Are you and Clarke dating?" questions Jasper. Several eyes dart back and forth between Bellamy and Clarke.

"Umm no, why?"

"Well... I don't think friends usually make out with each other. And before you try to deny it I saw you and Clarke at the hospital." Bellamy's face turns bright red while Clarke begins coughing violently to dislodge a pretzel inhaled due to surprise. Once Clarke can properly breathe again she meets Bellamy's eyes just as he speaks,

"It was a pretty nice kiss," he says. Clarke glares at him and he smirks but eventually, she gives in and smiles, around them their friends clap and laugh.

"We need to celebrate," announces Raven.

"Halloween party at my house tomorrow bring all your friends!" yells Jasper loud enough so the whole cafeteria can hear him. As the volume in the Cafeteria increases around their table, Bellamy turns to face Clarke and takes a deep breath.

"Clarke, do you want to be my girlfriend?"

"I thought you'd never ask," she replies her face radiating joy. Jasper glances down at their hands as they lace together.

"You owe me $50."

"I know," Clarke says through a wide grin.

Over Text

Murphy: R u girls coming? Bellamy and I are waiting outside the house

Harper: Yeah we're almost done

Raven: O is taking forever🙄

Octavia: can you shut up

Bellamy: Are u still mad at her?

Monty: yeah what even happened?

Octavia: Nothing

Clarke: SuReee

Jasper: What's that supposed to mean?

Bellamy: ^^^^

Jasper: come on u know I live off of gossip

Octavia: we're ready start the car

Bellamy: O make sure ur wearing something appropriate

Harper: she just gave u the finger

Bellamy: I saw...

Raven: Prepare yourself Bellamy Clarkes wearing a skirt

Clarke: Raven made me

Octavia: Ok we're outside bring the car closer in don't want to walk that far

Raven: this is what u get when u wear heels

Octavia: 😡

Bellamy: wOw.......

Raven: told ya he'd like it Clarke;)

In Real Life

Clarke holds her eyes on the ground so her already deep pink cheeks aren't apparent. However, her blush was not unnoticed, especially by Bellamy as he stares at the rare sight of Clarke wearing a short black dress with a borrowed pair of knee high deep blue leather boots. Once their eyes meet nothing can stop the rose hue from covering her face. They both smile as Bellamy fails to complete a full sentence. "Wow...nice...you..ah..look great."

"Thanks, You do too" Clarke responds.

"As much as I hate to break up your moment, the party awaits," Raven comments urging everyone into the car headed to Jasper's house.

After a caride of deafening music overflowing out of the Blake's crowded black Jeep, they arrive at Jasper's house. As expected when you are dealing with the parties Jasper hosts an overwhelming amount of people from all schools around the area are attending. Stepping out of the car Bellamy yells at Octavia " No alcohol!" but she waves her hand in dismissal as she disappears into the crowd.

Ok I know this is a really short chapter but I just wanted to give an introduction to what's going to happen in the next chapter at the party. Comment what you want me to add into the story! How was you long weekend? I saw Hamilton and it was soooo good! Bye for now:)
