There's a knock on the door and I go to open it this time it's Zayn he's dressed in a tucks and his hair done up. He hands me a rose and I thank him he walks in and sees Maddi crying on the her bed.

"Maddi what's wrong" he ask

"Nothing" she says siting up

"Yes there is your crying"

"No I'm fine I'm serious! You to go have fun! I'm fine!" She says and pushes us out the door

"You guys have fun! But not to much fun!" She smiles and closes the door.

We walk to the car and Zayn opens the door for me and I thank him.

The whole way there were silent I hope it's not like this when ever we get to where were going.

"Were here" Zayn says and gets out of the car and comes to open my door.

"Where are we?"

"Where at the lake follow me" he says and I follow beside him

"That's where were gonna eat!" He says a points to the picnic set up

"Wow that beautiful" there's a blanket on the ground for us, there's lights hanging and were by the lake it's just gorgeous!

"Your beautiful" he say and I can feel my cheeks get hot

We walk to the blanket and sit down we eat first and talk about are family's and what were planing to do for thanksgiving. He says that he can't wait to go home he misses his family.

"I always help mum cook and every year I would bring par" he stop and looks at the water

"Aww well that's sweet that you help your mom" I say trying make him stop thinking about Parri he nods and just keep staring at the water I can tell he's sad.

"Zayn are you okey?" I ask

"Ya I'm fine, Hey look come here I want to show you something" he says and I stand up and follow him we go to stand by the lake.

"look over there" He says and fireworks start to pop in the sky there so pretty,Zayn really is the romantic type the whole date has been perfect in till he started thinking about Perri. I know he misses her I miss Matthew sometimes to but then I remember that he cheated on me and I need someone who I can trust. But then again I did trust Matthew. Zayn stands in front of me pulling me away from my thoughts he looks into my eyes and he pulls me close to him. His lips meet mine but I pull away.

"Zayn I'm sorry I can't" I say it obvious that he's not over Perri yet

"Do what?"he says sounding

confused

"Whatever this is! I can't just kiss you and then us not talk it's obvious that your not over Parri yet and that's fine but I'm not going keep kissing you! Can we just be friends?"

"But....fine friends"

Zayns POV

I don't just want to be friends with her I thought we were actually getting somewhere but she's right im still now over Parri and I was making things go a little fast between us. If there was anything go on between us in the first place.

"But.....fine friends"

Heathers POV

The car ride is vary awkward like always we say a couple of things here and there but not full on conversations. We get to the dorms and he walks me.

"Thank you I had..fun"

"No problem hope we can do this again....as friends"

"Ya"

I walk in and Maddi is asleep I go to my bed and try to sleep but it's not coming I stay awake and think about Zayn I really do like him but maybe were taking things to fast...Wait is there even something going on between us? I don't even know!Maybe If I was still with Matthew I wouldn't be having feelings for Zayn.

I wake up the next morning and get ready for class.

"I'm gonna walk with you to class" Maddi tells me Harry would walk Maddi to class so I guess she just doesn't want to walk alone

"Okey"

We walk to class we pass this coffee shop and see Hannah with a guy and it's not Matthew.

"Hey that's Shawn" I say

"Okey? Who's Shawn?" Maddi says

"The guy with Hannah"

"Oh" she says and I see Matthew walking in to the coffee shop

"Matthew!" I y'all and he turns around and walks to us

"Ya"

"Are you still going out with Hannah?"

"No she broke up with and is now going out with some guy named Shawn"

"Oh ok thanks" I says and he leaves

"Hannah!" Maddi yells

"What!"

"So I've been hearing around campus's that you have a new guy"

"Actually he not just a guy he my boyfriend"

"Oh for once you have a boyfriend and not trying to steal someone else's!"

"Ya why do you care!?"

"I care because you fucking made me and Harry....Never mind"

"Okey" she says and walks a way

"I have a plan!" Maddi says

"What?"

"Okey so you know how she took Matthew away from you and she made me and Harry brake up?"

"Ya"

"Okey so since this is her first actual boyfriend then why don't we make them brake up?"

"Uhm..I don't know"

"Come on! You would still be with Matthew if it wasn't for her!"

"Fine"
