Luke's POV

"How's the tour?" Noelle asked. It was a little past midnight and I was sitting in the back of the tour bus, unable to sleep. After an hour of sitting in the dark I thought I would try and Skype Noelle.

"It's fantastic! The fans are great and it's really cool getting to see all these different places. Also everyone on the bus gets along great, so that's a plus," I answered.

Noelle laughed, shaking her head. "And how's that girl you said was on the bus with you? Bryn?" As soon as she said her name I felt my cheeks heat up. Silently, I hoped that the darkness was enough to hid it.

"Yeah, she's cool," I said, my voice cracking towards the end.

"Do you like her?" Noelle asked, wiggling her eyebrows. "I mean, like her like her."

I'm pretty sure my face was tomato red at this point. "Psh, no," I lied. Of course I liked her! How do you not? I'm mean, she's perfect. "Besides, she's Cal's sister. That would be weird right?"

"I guess so," she sighed, then yawned. "I should go, I have class in the morning."

I nodded. "Right. I love you!"

"I love you, too, Lukey!" She giggled and ended the call.

I sighed and set my laptop on the floor. It was nice to have someone to talk to outside of the tour and the fans. Noelle was easy to talk to. She didn't understand the tour life, but was always happy to listen.

"She sounds nice," I heard someone say. I bolted to my feet and saw Bryn. She was dressed in an oversized tee shirt and had her brown hair pulled into a messy ponytail. All her makeup was off, so you could see all her freckles scattered across her nose and cheeks.

But I could also see tears in her eyes that she was trying to hold back. How much had she heard?

"Bryn... We're not... She's not..." I fumbled with my words, trying to explain. She just waved me off.

"It's okay. You two looked happy." Bryn smiled, but it was a sad smile. She was trying so hard to make it seem like this didn't bother her, but I could tell it did.

"Bryn it's not like that," I said.

"Then what is it like, Luke?" She demanded. A single year rolled down her cheek and she turned away. I heard her murmur something like "I can't. I can't." She couldn't what.

"Noelle is my-" The bus jolted, cutting me off mid-sentence and flinging Bryn onto the floor. Then everything stopped. Literally. I went over to Bryn and helped her up. After giving her a quick once over to make sure she was okay we headed up to the front to see what was going on.

We found the others on the floor laying on top of one another. Bryn and I looked at each other, then at the pile of boys before falling into complete hysterics. I was laughing so hard I was crying. The boys started groaning and trying to roll away, which made me laugh harder. Bryn snorted in the middle of a laugh, which I thought was the cutest thing ever. She threw a hand over her mouth in embarrassment, but when she realized we were all laughing now she loosened up.

I wiped a tear from my eye and stepped over my band. Or tried to at least. Someone, Michael, I'm guessing, grabbed my leg and pulled me down.

"You're not going anywhere," someone whispered in my ear. I turned my head and found myself nose-to-nose with Calum. I screamed and jerked away, catching a glimpse of Bryn with her phone.

"This is great," she said, laughing.

Ashton giggled. "You bet it is!"

It took me awhile to detangle myself from that mess. Everyone stood up and straightened themselves out, however no one could stop laughing. My sides where killing me at this point.
