Bryn's POV

The bus jolted, waking me from sleep and tossing me onto the floor. I rolled over onto my stomach, groaning. My head was throbbing and every part of my body was aching. The ringing in my ears was a nice touch as well.

"What happened?" I heard a sleepy Michael asked, followed by a, "Whoa." "

Bryn?" Luke asked, laying a hand on my back. "Are you okay?"

I didn't answer, just let out a strangled cry. A door closed in the back of the bus and someone came walking towards us.

"I heard a crash. Is everythi- Bryn?" It was Calum.

I rolled over onto my back and tried to sit up, but was forces back down by a siring pain in the back of my head.

"What happened?" My brother inquired.

"The bus hit a bump and flung her out of her bunk," Luke replied.

"Hey that rhymed!" Ashton giggled. All the guys glared at him, but I laughed with him trying to lighten the mood. I didn't bother to tell him that "bump" and "bunk" didn't rhyme.

Luke scooped me into his arms hand carried me to the front of the bus. Everyone shuffled behind. You'd think from the looks on their faces that someone had died. If was kind of cute how concerned they were. Also kind of funny.

"Guys I'm fine. It's just a little bump." To prove a point a put a hand on the back of my head, feeling around for it. My original plan was to pretend there was no bump, but it was to huge to ignore. "Or a big bump," I added, laughing nervously.

Luke handed my a bag of ice and ordered me to put it on my head. I did as I was told. Though I still didn't understand their concern.

"Why do you guys look so glum? Lighten up a bit," I teased, trying to act like my head didn't hurt that much. It hurt like hell. And every movement sent a jolt of pain throughout my body. Ash came up to me and held my face between his hands, leaning in like he was going to kiss me. I panicked and shoved him away from me.

"What are you doing?" I demanded. He shoved my hands aside and took my face in his again.

"Checking to see if you have a concussion," he answered.

"I don't have a concussion," I said, attempting to push him away again. He rocked back on his heels, the most serious I had ever seen him. It rattled my nerves a little bit.

"There's definitely no way you could have a concussion with a grapefruit sized lump on your head," he snapped. I looked at the boys. They all seemed taken aback by Ashton's sudden seriousness, but none of them argued.

"Just let him check, Bryn," Calum sighed.

"Fine," I huffed. I stared into Ashton's eyes and he stared into mind. We both tried to keep a straight face, which undoubtedly ended badly. Eventually we were both laughing so hard we could barely breath.

"I'm sorry that's just so awkward," I said, wiping a tear from my eye.

"But good news! She's fine," Ash announced, trying to contain his laughter. Just then Luke's phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and smiled. I peeked over his shoulder to see and any hints of laughter I had left were gone.

Noelle Epiphany. I shouldn't be jealous of her. Maybe she was just friends with Luke. I wasn't even dating him, and I wasn't ever going to. No matter how much I liked him. But I couldn't help it.

"Sorry guys. I'll be right back." He walked into the other room and answered the phone.

"Sure you will," Mikey said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. I raised an eyebrow.
