as riju quietly laid in the comfort of her bed she felt a shift and the sheets ruffle alongside her and a sigh come from the person laying next to her. she rubs her eyes and shifts her self towards the person, " bucky? " she says soon as she sees the short waves of the winter soldier who's head was currently resting on her pillows.
" what's wrong buck? " she says letting her hand rest on his check feeling his weight begin to weigh on as he closed his eyes and remained silent. " you know you can tell me anything. " and so with those words after a long silence he picks himself up from the pillows and rest his head against the head board and pulls her toward him until their sitting with their shoulders touching and hands interlocked.
" I didn't mean to wake you, I thought you wouldn't notice or wake up but i was wrong. " he says giving her a side smile " i just couldn't sleep, im not quite yet use to sleeping here at the compound. I'm sorry for waking you up, it won't happen again. " he says trying to get up from out of the bed with a sad smile plastered to his face.
yet before he even managed to get up he was grasped by her hands and pulled down onto the bed alongside riju, " bucky you don't have to leave im not kicking you out. " she says pulling the soldier closer to her until their forehead touched and he was in her embrace, " you can stay as long as you need. "
after a long silence from the two she hears him sniff into her curls of her hair, " what are you doing buck? " she ask pulling slightly away with a laugh slipping past her lips.
" this is so weird but I love the smell of your hair it's so comforting, i don't know how you manage to maintain it all. " he says moving a curl of hair aside from her face.
" well it's a hassle honestly I'm debating on giving it a trim it's always getting in the way when we train." she says pushing the rest of her hair out of her face. " anyways go to bed buck, I can see that your tired it's written all over your face. " and soon with her words they both lay quietly in each other's embrace.
