you were a little shocked when peter had asked to talk to you in private. that what in his right mind thought with everything going on with thanos right now would be a greath time to chit chat. as he pulled you aside from the arguments insinuating between stark and peter quill you noticed that peter was mumbling stuff under his breath as if he was giving himself a pep talk.
" peter are you okay? you know if somethings wrong you can tell me. " you say grabbing him by the shoulders and making sure he didn't avoid eye contact with you, which is something he did quite frequently.
" yeah yeah everything's fine, " he pauses for second looking around into the situation they were placed in " ok maybe not everything's fine but before we go off and try to save the world I need to tell you something and I know right now isn't the time but when will we ever get time when we're always fighting bad guys? " he says quickly trying to catch his breath.

" you say looking straight into the eyes of death. you didnt regret the words that slipped through your lips all you had wanted was to save the day even if meant you had to die. you were gripped by an angry thanos telling you, you'd regret your actions and soon with squeeze of his fist you fall lifeless to the floor with the screams of peter echoing.
