Zero snapped her eyes open wide. She was in the throne room once again. She patted her body down from head to toe, looking for the injury Kakashi had inflicted on her during the war. "Zero?" That familiar voice brought tears to her eyes. She turned to see Rei standing before her. He, too, had a look of surprise. He was sure he had died the day of their wedding, but yet, he was standing before her like nothing had happened. Zero immediate jumped to her feet and engulfed Rei in a strong hug.

"Oh, Rei, he's so smart." Zero cried as she held onto Rei for dear life. "Hiroaki is just so perfect." Zero could recall her last moments before she had died. Like a movie, it played before her eyes. Even though Rei was severely confused, they could hear footsteps coming their way, so they broke apart and stood proudly within the room. "Is that...?" Zero questioned as she witnessed the man come in.

"There's no doubt about it." Rei answered sternly. The man who had walked in was none other than Naruto Uzumaki, accompanied by Rei's father, Kakashi Hatake. However, even though they were right in front of them, Naruto nor Kakashi took notice of the two. It was as if Rei and Zero were invisible. Their attention was then brought to the other side of the room. A familiar face appeared, however, he was no longer the child Rei and Zero left behind. Suddenly, everything made sense to Rei and Zero. They indeed were dead. They were just merely ghost who've appeared for some odd reason.

"Naruto Uzumaki, what do I owe the pleasure?" Hiroaki arrogantly asked. Zero tried hard to hold in her laugh. Hiroaki was a sweet child yet, somehow, he became the embodiment of the previous king, Daiki. Rei was just happy to see his child living and thriving. Instinctively, Rei hooked his arm over Zero. The two looked at Hiroaki with so much love. Even though they departed from this world early, they both felt proud to have left something so magnificent behind.

"King Hiroaki," Naruto spoke sternly, "I want to reforge the bonds we once had."

Hiroaki didn't answer right away as he sat on his throne, seemingly looking down on Naruto and Kakashi. "I am the illegitimate child of Princess Zero yet the people of this village accepted me as an heir. They accepted me, because I was untainted by the leaf's ideals. I hear you have a son and daughter, Naruto." Zero and Rei looked at each other as he spoke. They couldn't help, but smile. "I'd like to invite them to the Dark Kingdom. As my mother and several other Dark Kingdom heirs once were." Naruto held his tongue as did Kakashi. "Lighten up, I'd never stoop so low as the Leaf once did to abduct young children away from their parents. After all, my parents died to protect me and my future children to ever being taken away." Rei and Zero looked at each softly before looking back at their only child.

"We're not trying to continue to take away future heirs of the Dark Kingdom." Naruto retorted. "We want a new bond! A bond unlike our predecessors had. A bond of friendship and understanding, in honor of your parents."

"I have a lot to discuss with my council." Hiroaki stated as he stood from his throne. "You two may stay for the night." Without another word, Hiroaki left the room. Naruto and Kakashi looked at each other before letting out a shaky breath.

"My, Hiroaki-kun grew up to be quite a handful, don't you think, Rei?" Zero smiled as she stared out at the door Hiroaki had left out of.

"I can only picture your father." Rei responded in disgust before smiling proudly. "But that also means, he grew up to be a lot like you!"

"KAKASHI-SENSEI!" Naruto screamed. "LOOK!" He pointed straight at Rei and Zero. Kakashi's eye followed Naruto's finger. His eyes went wide as a cold sweat started to form all over his body. His body was rigged in shock.

Rei and Zero looked at each other then held each other's hands. Using the other, they shushed them, so they weren't so loud. Their bodies began to glow slightly. "Don't mistake this as our blessing." Zero smirked. "Take this as a warning, Naruto Uzumaki, the Dark Kingdom isn't something you can carelessly lay your hands on. Even in the afterlife, I'll stop at nothing to protect this kingdom."

"Father, protecting Zero was the best decision I had ever made. Through her, I managed to bare a son to carry on my kekkei genkai. As her friend, and as her husband, I'll stand by her and continue to protect whatever she holds dear. As their Prince, this kingdom is not something the leaf can touch with their filthy hands." With that said, Zero and Rei disappeared.
