Alexis' POV.
We sat down at the dining table, every taking a seat at the side, as if having naturally left the seat at the very end for me.
I sat down awkwardly but maintained my cordiality.
"Your majesty, you must still be disoriented from being introduced to our society. I hope Leslie has been of assistance?" Horivile inquired, his voice rough as if weathered by years of smoking.
"A-ah! Yes. Snow's been very helpful." I nodded.
"Well then, shall we begin today's two topics?" Horivile set down a little cube that projected virtual screens before everyone,"The first, her majesty's coronation. The second, her majesty's orders."
"I propose a grandiose coronation right in the capital of Eblutania-That is our main place for gathering, your majesty." Janet suggested.
"I can agree with that." Vivian agreed,"We would have all the obvliate dukes and marquises attend."
"We'll work on the fine print and make this the most luxurious coronation-"
"Wait-" I stopped Ashe.
"Your majesty?"
"Can we make the coronation the minimum?"
"What?" Nathaniel seemed shocked,"Your highness, this is an important event that-"
"I have heard from Snow that my dad has left me some work to do. In just a month, we will have a shot at ending this war."
"..." The room went silent.
"I don't think Snow's told you why I joined, right? I doubt he knows either."
I took out the badge I was given by Reishard when I joined Blitz.
"You recognise this logo?"
"Blitz. Gallium's elite force." Eindart replied,"Unnecessarily showy idiots."
"I joined Blitz to end a war. In humanity's favour. All for a human's love." I chuckled bitterly,"Little miss innocent thought she'd found true love. Gave up everything for him."
"Here I am. Used goods."
I could sense their anger, their rage at Antonio.
"I don't blame him though. He's shown me something I'd never have realised if he hadn't left me. Why the hell am I fighting for the humans anyway?"
"I don't care if the dukes turn up or what. All I want is complete, dominant, overwhelming victory-By the latest, the end of next year. So make the coronation the bate minimum. Or hell, just fly me there, do the ceremony and get it over with. We can do the official one after the war's over. That's my first order."
"Finally, a ruler that cares for her own people instead of hiding with a woman and leaving the rest of the work to us." Eindart snorted,"You're better than your father ever was, your majesty."
"Thank you." I replied with a straight face.
"As you wish, your highness." Horivil nodded,"Please look into the items you bought from the perfectionist system."
"The perfectionist system? What about it?"
"Your father replicated a dimensional area in which time and space seemed irrelevant. But inside, he placed a crown costing a billion points. If what is says is true, you should have it with you."
I sifted through the space and came across an exquisite crown-
It was exactly what you'd expect of a crown-Adorned with jewels of all kinds that I could see with the naked eye-A masterpiece that seemed priceless.
